You said “when have I ever been wrong about ANYTHING”. That includes how you thought we would fair in 2018.
As I said, it's a guessing game. It's neither worth bragging about nor putting shit on others for. The experts backed my assessment, so I'm fine with it.
Don’t back track now. You were also wrong about Kane Evans. You claimed he was the dynamic runner our side needed. He is not. He isn’t even what Wenty needs.
He was and still is. But his injury-riddled pre-season held him back.
You also claimed we would have paid overs to get him.
And I still reckon we did. But we'll never know, will we?
You then said we got him as a depth player and would have paid accordingly.
That just means overs was less than if we'd signed him as a guaranteed top 17 player.
You can’t have it both ways. You have been wrong about plenty of things rugby league related.
Actually I did think we signed Evans as a top 17 player, which I was wrong about. So that and Sandow. Also that we probably signed Hayne as a winger. But these are all minor things. The fact is Evans started the year in the top 17 and Hayne started a game on the wing (in our best performance). So I could've been right about both of those things and the coach changed his mind after the fact. We'll never know.
