You guys remember when I suggested we throw everything at Ponga about 2 years ago and offer French to other clubs? Sometimes you need to make such calls.

Well if you want to brag, think you may have posted that Valentine Holmes was overrated and not that great a few years back too ........

That’s not bragging. Everyone knew he would be a superstar. Holmes however has surprised me but is not even close to where Hayne was.

Why is Jarryd suddenly the bastion of truth? Is there not a benefit for him to spin his story in the media? Similar to Bernie with the stadium.

Plus why crucify BA for cap management despite the club having already admitted through the review and hiring of O'Neill that it shouldn't have been BA's job anyway. Pre that it clearly wasn't solely his realm given other people (Seward, Sharp, etc) have been found guilty of essentially gross cap mismanagement.
Crucify him for game tactics/overall squad selection but how do you blame a bloke for not doing a job that isn't his
Bernie did say "Its not as if BA was jumping up and down for an HoF Manager". I reckon BA didnt want one. I recall he wasnt happy having DA. Unfortunately none of us nuffys know the truth but all things are possible. Maybe BA has been told we are appointing an HoFM etc so you now have no excuse for the team not performing.

Maybe nobody bothered to tell BA about it at all. If not, I'm sure he'll find out on thursday when his office has new furniture.

Taka would be costing around 250k and for that price he does his job. Unsure what to expect from a guy on that salary. He is a great utility.

Avenger you would be clueless at building a side. No offense but you just lack a footy brain and make decision to fast.
Like I've stated before if me and Ram built a squad it would be top 4 and dynamic to watch.

I like our squad regaurdless. There is so much talent there. And lots of ypung guys who could have long time first grade careers. Extremely good cap management i feel as we can pick and chose which ones we want to keep as we have many stars off contract at the end of 2019. By 2020 id expect a lot of these juniors to be regular NRL players. I see between 5 -7 new juniors part of the side. That is including Salmon,Mahoney and Kafusi.
Not all will make it but the Utoikamanu brothers seem to be rated high as does Schneider. I reckon guys like Dressler and Faingaa are rough chances too.
Hard to know with Dunster and Parry but they certainly have the physical attributes.

We get that you're the Kings School educated brains behind this dynamic duo, but what does Rammy offer that will enhance an already formidable foundation going forward?

It’s got nothing to do with BAs feeling on the HOF position. My point was he was doing recruitment duties beyond the duties he was employed for. If you are failing at a job above your pay grade, is it really your fault?

If you said “yep I can do this” to ur boss then you have to take some responsibility if you failed.

Whether BA said he could do it I don’t know

I'd say yes. At the end of the day your arse is on the line if you're not up to the task. If he was taking on too much then he should have put his hand up and said so. I see no evidence suggesting BA or the club were even talking about it.
