We missed the boat on Cook, should of signed him when he was unwanted at Canterbury. Too late now, signing him on overs when as you say he'll be 29 when we sign him.Just as we've got 2 quality, young dummy halves coming through we are reportedly offering a contract to a player who's had 2 good seasons of first grade and would be getting to 29 the year we'd get him, he hasn't even played 100 games if first grade at 27 ffs.
I would be disappointed if we signed Cook.

has some good footwork
i went to an all boys boarding school for four years
He is fast around the ruck like Kaysa and defends well. I don’t recall him having a money ball or a short kicking game. How would he will go behind a pack without the Burgess or origin merkins ?
Agree that he is not worth $1m unless you have a monster pack.

The Broncos have snapped up Wavell SHS halfback Joshua James, the Brisbane junior player of the year, and Marsden SHS fullback Tesi Niu who is on tour with the Australian schoolboys.
James’ classmates from Wavell, Manase Kaho has been wooed by the Canberra Raiders while Mark Tupoala is off to the powerhouse Sydney Roosters.
Niu’s teammates from Marsden, Augustine Stowers will play with South Sydney and Exodus Semau was bound for Parramatta.

He's a quality playerWhich is why his big boppers on a roll gives him fast ball and scrambling markers.
Which circles back to my original point. Is he a one trick pony behind a strong pack ?
Ok then, i will throw massive money at himHe used to be a champion beach sprinter you know.
