How do you know what team he wanted? He got there at the start of a premiership window, made three straight grand finals, then ran into the rebuilding period, no different from Robinson.

I’d say Stuart wanted the team that won the comp more than the team that got weaker when back-ended contracts finally caught up with them. Same with Trent Robinson.
