“Don’t be surprised if the Sharks add Brad Arthur to their coach wish list for next season.
Arthur needs a good year at the Eels after the club struggled this season but is still held in high regard by rival clubs.
Sharks players are pushing for assistant coach John Morris to replace the disgraced Shane Flanagan but I’m hearing Arthur’s management may offer his services to Cronulla.
A host of other contenders are in the hunt for the Sharks job, with Trent Barrett current favourite.”

Depends whos holding the torch Gaz.I have obviously exposed a weakness in your thinking which has caused you to get very defensive.
That’s fine. If you’d prefer not to address my comments and instead resort to name calling it reflects on you rather than me.
Just do what @Gazzamatta has done and put me on ignore. That way you can bitch and moan all you like and never have to the opportunity to see things in a different light.
Have a merry Christmas.

Otherwise, it will only result in a short term rebound and the issues that have plagued every coach since Smith will ultimately catch up with the new guy.
Robbo would be a good option but I can’t see it ever happening.
That said, how would he go at Parra where he won’t have Uncle Nick there to click his fingers and give him everything he needs? Bernie still hasn’t even worked out how to click his fingers, let alone make all the shit happen afterwards.
If we can’t snag a quality, experienced NRL coach then someone like Hollbrook is the next best option.
no he wasn't held accountableThe general consensus is that BA has not delivered and hasn’t been held accountable for our shit performances
He definitely has more experience than Hollbrook. I think the smart money would be on BA's contract not being renewed and Potter being head coach in 2020.I think the next best option is Mick Potter. Bit of NRL experience, will have been around the players for a year.
I don't understand what the hype is around Holbrook. His SL team this year had a lot of ex-NRL talent, including Ben Barba who is still good enough to play NRL, didn't make the GF when he should have.
The best coaches have the best support systems around them.
he can take Will Smith, Taka and French with himWould be interesting if he in fact he does sign with the sharks for 2020. I guess we’d release him early and assign potter to the top job.
If he is losing games and his livelihood is at stake you can guarantee he will throw caution to the wind much more than if he knew his job was safe.
As you said, he will do anything to try and get a win.

If BA goes to the Sharks, Gallen will get a 3 year extension.
no he wasn't held accountable
not even AFL guy was
He’s already got one.Why do we think Holbrook would be better?
Should we give Trent Robinson a blank cheque?
They’re off contract and will go to the highest bidder.he can take Will Smith, Taka and French with him
I didn't feel like you did.I addressed your comments in my previous posts. But, yeah, that's probably good advice Merry Christmas.
Do you know how many four year contracts we’ve given players since 2014?4 years is BA's favoured option.

Don't you think that what you are saying is incongrous?I guess we'll see, wont we.
