It’s likely, given his record at least. Though I’m sus about anyone who plays 300+ games without winning a premiership.
That's not what you've said in the past.

I didn't say Hindmarsh was a weak captain, I said he was a poor leader.

Hindmarsh is one of the greatest Eels of alltime, but not everyone can be a leader.

It's not enough that we got rid of Hindmarsh. Losing a poor leader doesn't mean a few good ones will magically appear, ...

... there's plenty of evidence that Hindmarsh is a poor leader.

Anyone notice Tepai has been more vocal and given more leadership this off season? I like it. He is part of the plans and a respectable guy. Also read he dropped 2-3kgs to get more mobile.

60s reckons Manu and MJ looking super fit. I tip both to have big seasons.

All of you f**ken armchair critics think it is easy and that you could do a better job but you'd be complete plop if you were in charge. Plop!

I was going to like this because you make some great points but you've done something weird when quoting his posts so that's a no from me I'm afraid.

The Parramatta Eels are delighted to announce the signing of the English prop, James Cook. He's an above average captain, leader and outstanding rower.
It has been reported that he has poor lateral movement, especially when trying to avoid spears thrown in his direction.

In all honesty, he was one of the world's best captain/leaders. Shackelton and Flinders were others. In NRL terms there are few captain/leaders.

You’ve missed the point. Based on his longevity and win record he is likely to be a good leader. The fact I don’t think he is a good leader is based on other factors, which don’t apply to Watmough. Hindmarsh is another guy who had immensely more talent than Watmough, yet achieved about the same, minus the premierships.

Watmough was a hardarse. Hindmarsh wasn’t. He was a clown who happened to be physically gifted, particularly in the area of physical endurance. I’d say most players with his record would provide good leadership, but not him.

The History of Popcorn
From Cave Fires to Movie Snack Bars and the Microwave

Popcorn has become one of America's most beloved snack foods, but it has been enjoyed across the globe for thousands of years. Perhaps the world's oldest snack food, popcorn is easy to cook and can be seasoned in hundreds of ways.

maize god with popped kernels adorning his headdress. Evidence of popcorn throughout Central and South America, particularly Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico, is rampant. Aztec Indians used popcorn not only for eating but also decoration in clothing and other ceremonial embellishments.

Native Americans throughout North America also have a rich history documenting the consumption of popcorn. In addition to the kernels found in New Mexico, a kernel approximately 1,000 years old was found in Utah in a cave that was thought to be inhabited by Pueblo Indians. French explorers that came to the new world found popcorn being made by the Iroquois Indians in the Great Lakes region as well.

As colonists began moving to North America, they adopted the popular Native American snack food. Not only was popcorn eaten as a snack, but it was also reported to have been eaten with milk and sugar like a breakfast cereal. Popcorn was also cooked by colonists with a small amount of molasses, creating a snack similar to today's kettle corn.

Hindmarsh is an Eels legend. It's only those who took his name in vain were the ones able to drag his name into mediocrity. That, and the Footy Show.
