Yep, 100%. I like Issac Luke a lot as a player, and he's got a bit of mongrel in him which suits the way we played when we did well in 2017. Good hooker and can make a fist of the halves if needed too, probably moreso than Gutho.

On the goalkicking thing, Fergo also kicks around 70% without a lot of kicking. And he was a genuine kicker in lower grades if I remember rightly. So he may be another option too.

I think the important thing with a group of decent goalkickers rather than one or two sharp-shooters is that you use whoever has the most confidence each week. If someone starts missing, give another bloke a go rather than making a 7/10 kicker struggle through it.

It still doesn't make sense. Why would we offer 700 (say 400 this year and 3 next) over 2 years to someone on a 1 year contract worth 150. We aren't that desperate.

Firstly I reckon we’ll be trying more for 500/200 split.
Secondly I reckon the reason he only got 150 plus put his get out clause in is because he got greedy but left his run too late so spots and cap space filled up and he was left either going cap in hand to warriors or hitting ESL
