This particular case, i don't know.......i am happy that he has been stood down. Not all cases are equal though i do agree.

I don't think i would have suspended Stewart, it was an odd case and there was some doubt about the victim.

This case though, he was there, regardless of the allegations he and another player took the girl and had sex with her, consensual or not. He had a partner (so he is a piece of shit anyways) and was there. He put himself in the position and the allegations are very serious......i don't think there is any choice but to stand him down in this case.

Innocent or not, i don't know how he could even focus with all the attention........

Heard that on 7 news as I walked in the door from work... I'd be pretty happy with this. Of all the names mentioned so far, like Isaac Luke, Segeyaro, or Farah, McInness is the best option of the lot IMO... I presume they're talking for 2019...its awfully close to the start of the season to switch, but I guess that's the nature of the game these days....

McInnes would basically mean Mahoney isn’t going to be our long term option.
I liked Segeyaro and Luke because they’d be relatively cheap, their age meant they wouldn’t bar younger guys plus they’re somewhat versatile, definitely compared to McInnes

Yeah you could be right. Just had a look and he's only 25, I thought he was like 28 or so... I'd like to see where Mahoneys game could go... But to lure McInnes from a top 8 team to a wooden spoon team at his age, you'd think we'd have to have offered overs/long term contract... And will Mahoney want to be stuck behind him for 3 years or more?

The problem is McInnes is more established but quite young himself. I think he’d command a moderate chunk of salary too, so you’d have to be more inclined to have him as first choice. It’d be hard for Mahoney to prove himself. Plus McInnes can play 80 mins. My versatility comment was more that those guys could start or have impact off bench

McInnes is the best of those 4 hookers but is he good enough to risk the long term potential of Mahoney/Schneider
