I don't know. It would have to be either CEO, Commission Chair or Commissioner though.
Well I heard a story once upon a time of one of those three entering a certain type of establishment so it’d be funny if it was a sex tape

I doubt very much, tep, Mannah, Evans, taka, brown, French, Hoffman and peni aren’t being paid handsomely.

And how the hell do you know we offered gutho unders? Even if we did, it’s about time the clubs pays its players according. What would you think gutho is worth?

I doubt french hoff peni taka would be on more then 250k.
Mannah slightly yes.

I reckon Moeroa gets paid alright but he’s any 80 minute versatile forward. Maybe overs but there’s been worse.
Mannah probably gets slightly overs but he’s also eligible for long service which probably puts him unders.
Evans definitely overs but probably not horrendously.
Taka... depends which attitude you get. Across his tenure probably line ball but last year well overs. I think he’s our biggest overs culprit in terms of % and $ overs.
Brown same as Moeroa.
French similar to Evans I think in terms of dollars but he probably in better situation to prove his worth.
Hoffman overs only because he’s now surplus to needs.
Penis Torpedo I reckon we’ve actually got for unders or at least isn’t on a huge wicket because he’s a junior, has past indiscretions and has penishands

Manu would be on a wack due to form when signed.
MJ,Moses are certainly on overs that hurt.

Bar those 3 players I do not seeing anyone on silly overs.
Even if Evans was on 300k so what. He certainly is worth 150k-200k Whats a 100k mistake? MJ and Moses are currently on 500k overs and Manu maybe 200k overs for what giving.
But this happens in every team. Players have good form and you have then on unders then pay them big and risk paying them overs.

Most of the players you mentioned above were reportedly shopped around. Why do you think there were no takers???

There’s been some absolute ridiculous decisions made over the years at the eels. I guess that’s the reasoning behind appointing a HOF to oversee things like recruitment.

So it’s the NRL’s fault??? Plus bad luck and the Medico’s???

Can’t take a break at Parra :frowning2:

That last sentence is the truest thing you've said on the subject in ages tbh mate.

The point is, as much as some want it to be a cut and dried, this or that. . There are a lot of reasons for just about anything when it comes to the NRL.

I do think BA and the coaching staff kept the wrong back up hooker, but they chose the better defender. And it's not like King has a great fitness history either to be fair.

But beyond that we lost a very good hooker thanks to actions taken by the board and have struggled to find a replacement. There isn't just one reason for that, one person at fault

Actually looking at hooker depth for each NRL squad, there really isn’t much experience there. Most don’t have a lot of depth in the position.

Even sides like Souths/Roosters have fairly average journey man as back ups in Gavey/Mcillrick.

Pritchard is probably as good if not better then most of the back up hookers at other clubs.

Also what hooker should we have signed during the last 6 months to give us some depth (or since peat’s has left)? There haven’t been that many available.

Also we have been linked to a few hookers for this year (Luke’s, McInnes, jacks - can potentially play hooker, Lichaa, segeyaro, Brailey, parcel), even before Pritchard’s leave. So the club has been trying.
Segeyaro has been available for some time and it appears BA didn't even contact him. Regardless, considering Kaysa's injury history we should of had a backup hooker regardless and Segeyaro is much better than average. Could have picked him up for 1 or 2 years at bargain basement price.

Why would we sack Segeyaros pest of a mate and then sign another pest like Segs?

The TPA difference between Parramatta and the majority of the NRL is 150k.

Now Parra have Hoffman,Evans and French who wont see first grade anytime soon, and if they do they'll be a liability.

So we have 1 million dollars of the cap wasted on players who the club wished they could offload.

And that's the problem at Parramatta. Tpa's will come as a result of ridding the club of the dopes who've tarnished our brand - Edwards Norman ect.

The difference between us and say St george is 50k in tpa's, yet they can field a virtual origin pack, and very good spine.
Yes and they don't have a habit of coming last! Probably helps they are close to the beach too. Not too many clean beaches on the Parramatta River although believe Shark Creek (near Clyde) is a great place to swim.

All were playing regular first grade when they were signed. They weren't liabilities. Hoffman has nearly 180 NRL games ffs.

You're confusing TPAs with sponsorships.

The other difference is they are stable and patient. Their coach has been in charge for five years and their highest finish was seventh place. McGregor has won 61 from 123 games. Arthur has won 58 from 128, at a far less stable club.

But I agree getting rid of negative influences will be a massive improvement. I'm glad we didn't sign Segeyaro.

Peats has been gone since 2016, how many Hookers have changed clubs since then??? Some decent ones as well. It’s not all cut and dried and we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes but Kaysa was an average at best dummy half with a terrible record with injury. Going in with Mahoney and just him was always going to end in tears.

Honestly this season is a right off IMO so I’m just looking forward to Mahoney, Brown, Salmon and Kaufusi getting some first grade into them and hopefully improving and setting the club up for years to come.
