Well , the fans werent hurt by Last seasons performance by you and your mates, there is unfortunately no sense of realism from players, there is also a bargaining period on contracts and as before , not sure the initial offer after ACLs and the season should have been north of $450/$500k, but that's history.

Whilst it's easy to say fans shouldn't get upset, players are willing to get lauded and bask in glory when things are going in the right direction, but the petals are immune from criticism. When he's being offered close to 10X what a lot of supporters earn each year, comes over as unnecessary.

Why are we whinging over his value?

1. Past results isn’t an indicator of future performance.
2. We have no idea over internal machinations of the club cap, individual players or the entire comp
3. Shit happens

The only “overs” you can determine presigning is if we could have got him cheaper (at the moment that indication I’d that is unlikely)

Ayoub sounds like that ad for Purple Bricks. Top dollar it's worth top dollar, I can get you top dollar.Now he has to continue to malign the club in an attempt to get what he may have promised.

Maybe Gutho,originally hesitated in an attempt to get BA over the line, but perhaps he has realised that all the headlines ( which Gurr has just stated have not been from the club) are a result of his manager (fat Sam) using his pet Pelicans in K*ent, Crawlface and Hooper to push his agenda.

Sort of feel for Gutho, but he has the opportunity to earn 10 times the average wage for the next 3 years, if he can't set himself up with that income, then help us all.

There's a few reasons for that.
1. Climate change.
2. Nobody under 20 remembers what a newspaper is, nor can they read one if it was in front of them anyway.

You don't see Ayoub on the sidelines yelling tips at Gutho on how to play better.

Now, I don't personally know for sure, but my impression is that the negotiations so far have been left to Ayoub, I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise. He very well may be talking to Ayoub on a regular basis being very involved in the whole process, what the hell do I know.

I'm also of the opinion that the fan backlash probably isn't that big a deal to him either. He's had people calling him a shit player/person his whole career, I don't see why it would bother him now.

I tell the chef how I want my steak done. I’d also tell my manager how I want to be represented.
