Pou you are f**king delusional. I've read you BS for years. No wonder we are such a shit team with people like you championing the 'stats'.
I can't change our club and neither can you.
Happy since BA been re-signed
We didn't have much choice.
... lost to teams we should of buried, you are what's wrong with our supporters.
Which teams should we have 'buried'? The desperate ones coming off a string of losses? Don't be fooled too much by form. The quality of a team on paper is always more reliable.

You have stated that you expect us to win half our games this year...if we don’t can we call it a failure?
You have to allow a margin of error. Injuries and other luck (good or bad) could easily be the difference between 10 wins or 14.
I sure as shit will. As a supporter I expect us to be a top 8 side more often than not (even if we scrape in).
Well I hope for a top eight finish, but I'm also realistic.

He built this squad you dropkick.
With one arm tied behind his back
We should expect him to have a squad that should win the f**king competition after being in charge of it for 6 years, not just be content with winning a few games.
Why should we have a better squad after six years? Do we have more TPAs now than we did six years ago?
What is wrong with you?
I'm not the one who magically thinks a squad should improve every single year. I would expect us to win about half our games, with this reversion to mean more likely over time.

So Mahoney hasn’t come off the bench since the Melbourne disaster. Can we call that a f**k up on BA’s behalf that he has now realised?
He's missed nine tackles in the two weeks since. I'm certain the Storm capitulation had nothing to do with Mahoney getting a rest for 20 minutes.
On a similar note, does anyone think Fergo will be playing in the centres again?
The question is who will play centre if Mennings or Hoffman is unavailable again.

Well it is a given, and on that level we're fine. And on talent I'd expect this team to win about half of its games.

Guess how many of our games we've won this year?
Well then that is fkn frightening, if these are the results after apparently putting an effort in:disappointed:

Props to @Poupou Escobar for taking a positive view. I’m usually in his corner but sorry Pou, you’re on your Pat Malone this week.

Junior Paulo's form has deteriorated noticeably in the past month... Alvaro is a passenger. Nathan Brown can't return quick enough. Utoikamanu may be worth a crack sooner than later. Taka on the bench is a waste IMO. If he's not starting in his preferred centre spot (which he shouldn't be) then it's back to Wenty.

Yep, paulo has been below average for some reason. But since the storm game, we’ve had teams in our faces before we even get near the advantage line. We can’t match it with them for ruck speed.

Yep, I can see the positives in nearly every performance. But that was appalling last night. I'm seriously demoralised after watching what we dished up.
But I have to say it's not an effort issue. If you're out there on an NRL field making tackles, you're putting in effort.

It felt like last year when the refs were going crazy with penalties. We could not find our rhythm. Could not handle their line speed. We were either trying to attack without space or defending on our heels.

Moses was (mostly) our sole kick option and it was easy to pressure him.

For me, I feel like we only had to play reasonable well to win comfortably. I'm so frustrated.

The only excuse I can use is 5 day turn around after playing in Nqld. That is a genuine excuse.

BA maybe needs to shake the squad up.
Pending how Bevan goes he has to be considered as a fullback option and Gutherson into centre or halves.

It’s easy to say that we should make massive changes. Gutho at centre will only mean that he sees the ball less. Mennings will be back next week. Hoffman is a fine fill-in.

It wasn’t the backs that let us down (apart from the 50 dropped balls). It was the failure to control the ruck. Slow play the balls and only one real tackle 5 kick option.

We wouldn’t want to be paying any more for him on a new contract than we are now. Are there any real alternatives out there though?

Moses is too erratic to ever be the half we build a team around. We need a genuine half-back. Moses is an opportunistic five-eight. He cant control or manage a game. He's also a bit of a down-hill skier; he looks real flashy when the going is good, but disappears or panics when the side is under real pressure. I say don't re-sign him at all (although I'm 100% certain they will). But if we do re-sign him, it should be on very low money, and on the understanding that he is really only filling in until we can get a decent half-back. We need a half like Dylan Brown (although he'll probably go elsewhere as soon as his contract's up). We need a half who is steady, composed and a real leader. Not someone who plays on passion and flashiness. The signing of Moses was a real panic signing in the first place. We needed a halfback halfway through the year. We really wanted Reynolds or Townsend. Brookes and Moses became available, so we chose the flashy one. I don't think there was a lot of thought or planning went into it. He's proven to be erratic and unreliable with us so far. And now it's time to consider re-signing him because there seems to be no one else available at the moment (and because BA probably thinks he still has 'potential'). This club needs to stop making reactive signings and start really planning for the future.

We tried to play dry weather football on a slippery surface. We just played dumb dumb dumb. We had no respect for the ball or the opposition. After we got 8 nil up we took the soft options all night.

I think we did play wet weather footy, our forwards were running one out for most of the night and rarely did we do a sweeping play on the 3rd or 4th like we normally do.

Additionally a lot of the drop ball wasn’t from stupid attacking moves, gutho / lane first half dropping it making a fairly simple run attacking the line, Ferguson dropped balls weren’t stupid passes etc etc
