That was Edwards best game of the season last night by a looooooong way, he has been pretty bad. Anyway I wouldn't expect him to be a big upgrade or anything just a different style of outside back to what we have. All our wingers and fullbacks lack skill and speed, they are more of the workhorse types.

Cleary will pick a small winger in any event, he got some good performances out of Corey Thompson at Wests.

But French is playing in the 6 for Wenty is he not?? Why play him in the halves in 2nds then bring him in to first grade as fullback and move your first grade fullback to the halves?? That's geniused. Prolly something BA would do mind...

In any case, I doubt the sort of game French would bring as a 6 is the sort of halves partner Moses needs right now. We need a role player, someone with composure and control and a kicking game and not prone to brain farts.... Someone like Dylan Brown....

French has been playing fullback. He had maybe two games in the halves, because they were short on halves.
