Another poster commented that the 2016 Salary Cap Scandal saved BAs career. Its a fair observation I reckon but how long will the club continue to be in debt for BAs outstanding contribution at that time?
Players and coaches come and go. Contract or no contract. If our board is progressive they should continue to seek the best people regardless of earlier decisions. Thats good business. Should 2019 continue down the 2018 path the board must seek alternatives.
This is the year our coaches responsibility is to coach. Nothing else. Whatever is needed Im sure they have only to ask within reason. This is the result of the review.
BA is a great Parra man and I would never suggest he be thrown on the scrap heap but there would be positions within our club that he could shift into and probably be of more value than he is now.
People talk of moving players on and buying this player or that. The problem is much greater which wont be fixed even by a Latrell Mitchell or a TPJ or a Hess.
I cant believe our board would be happy and wouldnt be looking at future strategy. No way they are saying "lets hope things improve". The criticism is deafening. Change is always within our control.
