nothing to lose by giving French a go he'd be better than smith

Smith holds his own when the big pigs run at him in the line. I have only seen French defend in cover. Do you think he will be a liability ? Will we have to hide him when we are defending ?

Well French won't get us out of our half.

I'm not going to erupt if they pick him at 6, but if he does that stupid show n go that never works I'll lose my shit.

Bevan nor Drown will or can help us. We’re losing the battle up the middle. Our forwards are just being monstered, and until we change our style of play, everything will fail. We need to introduce inside balls and have bodies in motion. Every one of our forwards are on a hiding to nothing. We have a decent roster we just need to utilise it.

Cleary was Johnny on the spot. The harder you work the luckier you get. Had us on the back foot from that play.
Fans overestimate any given play, but you're right about hard work. Their attack was set up by the hard work of Mansour and To'o. 43 runs for nearly 400 metres, and their footwork got them plenty of quick play-the-balls. Our most effective back through the middle seemed to be Hoffman, poking his nose through on every run.

Is he not allowed to have an opinion on making us successfully.
Not if he can't do it without being abusive. The f**king merkin.
I dont buy this TPA crap.
Well you'll have to, because it's a fact. The NRL published TPAs last year, and there's a huge discrepancy. And that's just the legal ones. If legal TPAs were so easy to get teams wouldn't keep getting busted for cheating.

More to the point, if a TPA is contingent on a player remaining at a particular club then it must count under the salary cap. For this reason such TPAs are unlikely to be declared by clubs, so won't be reported by the NRL.
The city of Parramatta is the 2md hub of Sydney. No reason why we shouldn't be the powerhouse of the Nrl.
I can understand smaller clubs like Tigers and Canberra etc.... Gould said himself this club can be the biggest sports team in Australia. They just need to get it right. So Avenger doesn't except medicority. Why is this an issue? He isn't a quitter and he wants to win.
Constantly whinging about a footy team isn't winning. Obviously whinging about idiots on a footy forum isn't winning either, but I'm not the one pretending to be a winner with high standards. I watch and analyse. I don't claim to be able to influence the result.

I take your point re TPAs Poo but surely not spending our starting salary cap would be an initial concern.

I don’t buy this tpa shit. We have a decent roster, that should to be competing. This one out shit and our fragile defence need to be rectified. If we’re stuck with BA for another 2 years we need another defensive coach.

I have been saying it for weeks about Moses, he is the easy punching bag but he is our sole attacking option and our sole kicking option, of course teams are going to target him, how f**king easy is your job when the only thing you have is to target one player?

The rest of the team aren’t backing him up!!

Moses would be good as a five-eight playing alongside an organising half like Mitchell Pearce or Adam Reynolds, Chad Townsend, Cooper Cronk, or a more experienced Dylan Brown or Tom Dearden. But as the sole operator, he's way too erratic and destabilising. Big decision coming up for Parra.

It’s simple, we need D Brown back. The kid oozed class. I agree there’s no point rushing him back when he has such a big future ahead of him but our backline will be plenty better when he’s back in it.

I totally agree. But do you really think he'll stick around here when his contract expires? Geez I hope so. I wouldn't.

Would go for Ash Taylor instead of retaining Moses.. The Media are death riding Taylor big time but he is still more consistent than Moses..

Another poster commented that the 2016 Salary Cap Scandal saved BAs career. Its a fair observation I reckon ………..

That's one way of looking at it. or you could say something like …….. the Sharks cheated the cap under Flanagan and, soon after, Won the title. Same with Melbourne. Parramatta cheats the cap under Arthur and cant even field a team that makes the finals. Arthur's salary cap management, recruiting foresight and ability to sign players that will complement the others in the team, is abysmal. If the salary cap scandal saved him, it should also have pointed to something rather more concerning about him. How can it be that we have so many players all off contract at the same time? That's very poor management too.
