Marine Biology in Year 5? Now we know you're full of shit.
I think that marine biology at any level of high school should be similarly non-credible.

Or a Latex Salesman.Don't all Marine Biologists actually want to be an Architect?

We are competing. How many wins should this roster be racking up? How many rosters would you say are worse than ours?
If we lost to all the better rosters and beat all the worse ones, and won half of our games against all the rosters on our level, how many wins would we have? And would that number of wins be acceptable?
We haven’t competed in 3 weeks. And the last two weeks, both teams are having a very average season, and played a diabolical game. Yet we lost. Both games. I’m not expecting to win every game, but at the same token I’m expecting the team to be a disgrace either. We’ve recruited well, yet there’s many aspects of our game that has regressed.
Well said. Couldn't agree more.We haven’t competed in 3 weeks. And the last two weeks, both teams are having a very average season, and played a diabolical game. Yet we lost. Both games. I know it is not possible for Poupou to be at games because of his location but what he isn't seeing is the players off camera......sorry Poupou but they just don't look interested and they were struggling to get back on-side after kicks, or just in general.
They looked like strangers last night, there was nothing but a team full of individuals......there was no team effort last night.
I recall the sideline commentator, albeit Brent Tate, saying last week that there was absolutely no talk from Parra during the game.

I know it has been said on here many times over the last few years and despite peoples thoughts on the individuals recruited at various times to close this issue, the one constant we have been lacking and continue to lack is LEADERSHIP, especially in the forwards.
And we dont have anyone capable of developing any.I know it has been said on here many times over the last few years and despite peoples thoughts on the individuals recruited at various times to close this issue, the one constant we have been lacking and continue to lack is LEADERSHIP, especially in the forwards.
What! I mention this and its a shit decision, according to you, You now validate my comment. After last night, if DWZ signed, Gutho might be playing centre and DZW at fullback. But with BA who knows? Don't think he even knows what he's doing.Options down the track to maybe move Gutho to the centres.
Absolutely! I mentioned in a post a few weeks ago about the Colts GM drafting and generally recruiting team captains etc. and he also drafts/recruits high football IQ and high character guys.
Year one of that strategy saw us go from the third overall pick to the 26th pick in the draft......we made the play offs with the youngest roster and we had hired a first year coach of high value and extensive experience. The hype for year 2 under our current coach is unbelievable at the moment.......
We (the Eels) lack leaders and brains imo. We are f**king dumb, like really, really f**king dumb team.
Yep, and we have without doubt the dumbest fans in the comp, and until we somehow to convince them to support the Roosters or someone we'll struggle.
PS, having implementing such a strategy in the NFL is a bit different than in the NRL. And of course, plenty have been burned in the NFL.
We are missing someone of the Burgess type mold.I know it has been said on here many times over the last few years and despite peoples thoughts on the individuals recruited at various times to close this issue, the one constant we have been lacking and continue to lack is LEADERSHIP, especially in the forwards.
Well i am a fan and i am the dumbest person on the planet, so it is hard to argue with you on that point.
And i know the NFL is different and somewhat easier to control some of this stuff but the logic of trying to bring in leaders (and smarter footballers) should still be the aim.
We can't even find a balance, which is why we are where we are........
We are missing someone of the Burgess type mold.
A complete and utter grub, who leads from the front with his actions.
Obviously we aren't going to sign Burgess but a big forward leader is something we have lacked for awhile bar Scott maybe.
Poor poor Pou. You must have been the board member that re-signed BA. Some of those players BA refuses to drop have been here for years and how are they going? Shit house and not improved, they've regressed. Good coaches improve players, BA is not that in any shape or form. He's missed nine tackles in the two weeks since. I'm certain the Storm capitulation had nothing to do with Mahoney getting a rest for 20 minutes.
The question is who will play centre if Mennings or Hoffman is unavailable again.
