He hasn’t played League in what 9 years??? Been bumming around in a inferior code earning easy money.

Now at 29 he wants to come back to the sport that made him???

Yeah nah!!

@JokerEel is right if we want to go down that route throw a million bucks at Semi.
Agree but certainly an upgrade on current stocks.
Would love Semi to come back but the massive coin on offer in France won't bring him back to Parra..i would love to be wrong here

I don’t see the problem. FMD he didn’t piss is his own mouth, bash or rape a woman.

For mine he had his contract terminated by the ARU. If he undertakes not to run “hate speech” posts which are contrary to the NRLs values of inclusiveness, then lock him in.

Having said that he would need to play fullback in the NRL side to get his $1m salary.

Mahoney
Brown
Gutho
Folau

Moses out

Would be a nice spine.

Except Folau is a winger

Was a winger ? After he left the NRL he has been pretty damn successful. Played mostly at FB and scored over 100 tries from Waratahs games and tests.

Taqele Naiyaravoro was set to be a career reserve grader in rugby league, he goes on to play close to 50 games for the waratahs. Rugby union, particularly in Australia, is nowhere near the level of the NRL.
Scoring tries doesn't make you a fullback. We saw in afl he doesn't have the aerobic fitness to play such an involved position. He was never, and still isn't a ball player hence why he's often played outside centre. And not to be pedantic or anything but he's scored a combined 92 tries for the tahs and wallabies. In today's NRL he's a winger.

Well he's not worth $1m then.

Well he was on fire for the Waratahs.... According to his social media posts, one could make the assumption....
Hindy's on the case........no worries.

I'd be disappointed if someone like him joined our club, tbh.

By all means, believe what you want about people - but going out of your way to post hurtful, or inflammatory comments, under the guise of religion, just sits wrongly with me.

And especially considering that kids look up to him so much.
For me it has nothing to do his comments. Footballers are inherently stupid when it comes to posting pearls of wisdom. I don't want him near the club because of his age, time away from the NRL and to be honest, I really don't think he has anything to offer the Eels above what we already have.
