It wasn't my assessment of "murderers, thieves, drunkards, sedition(ers?), adulterers", it was Izzy's. He said that if they don't cease, disist and repent, they will be living next door to George Pell in the afterlife.

Are they good for society ? if everyone on that list got culled in society there wouldn't be many of us left.

The scriptures simply say 'will not inherit the kingdom of God, says nothing about hell. In fact Paul who wrote the scripture never mentions hell in any of his letters. Izzy is playing theoligical gymnastics.

Let's go for Folau ,Lodge Dylan Walker, Semi, Ash Taylor and Latrell..

So much to talk about!

Our best & most disciplined recruitment came before this season with Fergo, Lane, Jnr & Sivo coming on board, all either at their peak or on the up slope. Another three or four diligent signings per year is what I'm seeing now.

Its certainly has been a turn around from the unsustainable retirement haven for many players, vave, Matagi, Watmough, Williams, Scott, Frichard ect., and this is the reason we won the spoon.

A head coach sometimes takes a shorter term view on recruitment hoping for quick success, but i feel BA is more focused on coaching now, with Gurr & the football management looking at the future.

Parramatta are on the right track now

We won the spoon because everyone underperformed last year, not because our players weren't good enough.

If there was a recruiting f**k up it was bringing Hayne back to the club.

The same players who won six games last year won 29 over the previous two.

It's impossible for a whole squad to underperform all at once. It was a combination of bad recruitment, low confidence & internal issues. That's why there was a massive review.

Look at our recruitment atm, can't you see it's changed?

I don’t know... there’s a fairly marked difference between quite a few players performance this year compared to last year
Gutho (possibly due to injury), Mennings, Taka (up to few weeks ago), Moses, Mau, Mannah, Niukore (up to few weeks ago), Evans are all performing better so far this year than their form line from last year.
Interestingly the 2 players performing worse than last year are Alvaro and Gennings, but they were arguably our best performers last year

Bulldogs 04 premiers 05 12th

Roosters 15 minor premiers 16 15th...

That’s only 2 of many examples but teams have always had a history of fluctuating performances...

Yes but like I've said, our recruitment is now diligently better in targeting players who will make a difference, and are justified starting 13 NRL players.

Sivo was more a gamble but was very cheap, and Davey i don't think is top 30.

I see less fluctuation with our smarter recruitment atm. I think 8th is spot on on how we've played this year, and that's with our improved squad.

From the beginning I thought Sivo wouldn't be a risk. His resume was decent enough with no prior convictions. Who is this Davey person?

Brett Reid just said on 2mmm that Mbye has been offered to all clubs.

So essentially does that mean he could be contracted to three different clubs in a year and be continued to be paid by 3 different clubs for another 3 1/2 seasons?

Well I can see we haven't signed anyone for next year, if that's what you mean.
