Energy and enthusiasm is a massive positive but admittedly not the best defender either. However if he was to tag team with Mahoney can't see it being a bad thing.
Very versatile, leadership qualities (despite the odd brain explosion here and there) and would want 1st grade which he hasn't been getting at the Tigers. If we got him for $3-350k id say worth it.
I am worried by his ongoing injuries though.

He would cost almost nothing this year. Id say he was on maybe 300k and half the seasons done. Tiger will get a great NRL level prop for 2020 for under 200k. Even if he is a back up and in and out of squad.

Not sure he's a great NRL level prop, he didn't stand up to starting level this year and to be honest was manhandled when in the line. Great bloke , good clubman, understand he manages himself now so the decision to ask for a release was his, the club may have rewarded him by granting it.

Soufs will be without Tom and Sam for the next 2-4 games with both undergoing surgery. It would be inconceivable for them to let George go whilst already down 2 of their best forwards. I don't see the George deal happening this year or at all for that matter..
