I'd start with Wicksy yeah..
Wicks has worn jersey 8 every week since round 18 but in the last five weeks he has come off the bench four times. The exception was against the Broncos with Beau Scott out.

What does that mean for next year? Dunno. But I reckon Arthur's prefers Wicks off the bench. His speed and ability to play long minutes make him a highly versatile middle forward. He's able to complement the other middle forwards on the field with him. And I don't mean he says nice things about them.

I agree, and i read somewhere where the Dragons may look to promote from within for their halfback problems. I'd say they were the ones who would of been chasing him.

I was told that Hastings and saints had a bad falling out before he went to the crooks..

Well if BA does want him you would think we are the box seat to sign him. I really think is worth a gamble. He's still only 20, can tackle and has plenty of skill. I'd back BA to get the best out of him, look what he has done for Norman.

Yeah you could be right, only Newcastle or maybe Souths are the ones that could be a genuine option for Hastings

Souths had to spend extra to keep Walker so i'm not sure if they can afford 3 halves on decent coin, newcastle are always a chance i suppose. Depends if he is chasing the cash or a chance to improve under a strong coach. At 20 there is plenty of time for him to chase the cash.

If we are looking for a genuine back who is versatile has speed, a bit of freak in him and a bit of mongrel, then look no further then Jake Mamo. He isn't wanted by the Knights and should come cheap.

Also if we are looking for a hooker, Damien Cook has been on fire since they started playing him a starting hooker. He has speed, creativity and kicks. But I would suspect that Souths would not release him now since he has come good. But he is very good.

Newcastle have 2 established halves, souths as well, I wouldn't have thought Hastings would be moving to an, at best, third string spot.

I think that we are in for either a half or a winger but not both for the top 17/25. If it is Hastings you would think Guth to FB and Bev to wing. If it is a accomplished winger it would be Guth to 5/8th and Bevan to FB, give or take.

If we are having a crack at Josh Hoffman then at least they can all move around while Bev learns the trade and isnt forced there (FB).

They are looking to release Mullen.

Interesting, though Hastings and Hodko seem to be the exactly the same type of half

Not really. I think Hastings has more skill. The issue is his mental development.

Hodko is a very steady, mentally tough player, but limited in what he can do. I think his knee problems may have seen to that.

That is excellent info MJC but I don't know if you should be posting player's personal emails on here (unless of course he said it was fine to do so).
