Sounded to me like BA is intending on picking Gennings. Can't wait till TLT. Mennings and Gennings in. Parry back to reggies. Taka to bench. Lane in. Marata to bench. Tepai has played his last game for us I suspect. Some interesting selection decisions to be made.

I don't like any of the other options. He's been criticised for his defence but he's mostly played centre. And with his height and size he'd be more of a handful than the other options.

Yes I heard that as well... Said Gennings was just about our best back last year... I thought to myself, "yeah, in a shit, wooden spoon side"... Not exactly setting the bar high. And anyway, Hayne and Guth at the very least were better than Gennings by a stretch IMO

Parry made 4 errors and rushed up and let in 2 tries. Unsure if GJ had a game as bad but if did people here would call for his head. GJ also isnt as easily dominated in the tackle. Parry needs an off season and 5kgs of muscle.

It is amazing how many people on here fall head over heels over a junior. The way I see it if they are playing as good as a guy who wont be here then fair go they get the nod being young and all.
But when seasons alive you go with the best option available. I have Hoffman and GJ above Parry.

I don't rate Parry but he is a better option than George Jennings. Yesterday in his 2nd ever first grade game Parry ran for 165m. And he only made 3 errors not 4.

Your mate George Jennings this year vs the Cowboys ran for 148m and also made 3 errors. Against the Panthers he ran for 112m also making 3 errors. The guy has dicks for hands.

Hoffman should be picked. If he is injured then Parry.

Parry is fine. He's a second game centre playing on the wing whose defence is already shaky. So yeah, he's gonna f**k up.

He's also probably the closest to Fergo we can get in terms of bringing the ball back. As a back up winger he's first at this stage for that reason alone you'd think.

I like Hoff but he's not that effective on the wing. Better in the centres IMO and definitely above Parry in that pecking order.
