Jacob Loko could have been anything.. decided he liked a green jump suit instead of a footy Jersey..

We produce plenty of good players. They end up at other clubs.

What's been a pretty big common factor amongst the past 10 years? Constantly changing coaches. To me that has been the biggest detriment to our junior systems. Every time the coach changes it is more likely that the junior recruiter/retention officer also changes. Now that we've had BA in the job for 6 years and Anthony Field in his role just as long we're getting more and better quality juniors coming through. That's not to say you should only have 1 head coach for decades but you also probably shouldn't change head coach every 2-3 pre-seasons.

Which is exactly why the club made the right decision to retain BA, especially as there were no stand out options available. We will benefit from the stability for a good few years to come.

You said which backs of any quality have we produced. We signed Semi as a 19 year old who had never played rugby league. I think we can take plenty of credit for turning him into the best winger in the game.
