Unfortunately we don't do quick PTBs. Something BA seems to have forgotten about which should be part of our attacking arsenal.

Unfortunately, looking at Bega trial, we still get off tackled players too quickly thus letting them win the ruck. Obviously BA doesn't want to give penalties away but how hard is it to get an arm or leg tangled up in a tackled player? Melbourne do it all the time and Cam Smith literally goes to sleep on a tackled player with impunity. That is something we need to train for.

So we need less fat props??

I wasn't laughing, yet another penality Parra seem to cop that no other team does. A bit like 10 mins in the bin if a illegal tackle results in a player leaving the field. Always enforced against us but not enforced when we play teams who do the same to us a few times last year. Btw is there actually a rule against quick PTBs? I would have thought not.

Just make it a goal line drop out after a penalty goal and teams can just rack up points kicking goals while keeping pressure on the defence.

Or have an extra ref whose job it is to drag tacklers off the tackled player.

The day he does something on the 4th tackle besides a settler is the day I’ll accept him as an attacking player. He is a handbrake in attack and his stats hide the real story. He is our version of Paul Gallen.

He shows ridiculous energy and winning attitude and smashes guys in defense. One of our only aggressors in squad.

I think Kane will go decent this year. He has improved his game since coming to the Eels, time to consolidate his spot in the team. Besides, his contract will be up at the end of the year....good times.

I know its Friday and I should be happy but it pisses me off that the media have now actually written about 5 or 6 articles saying that Parra could be winning the comp in 2020.

FFS it does my head in, we have a well rounded squad but we haven't even kicked a ball yet and so far we've won nothing! I really hope Brad Arthur is smashing them every time these articles get posted that we have NO right to be cocky.
