Canberras attack wasn't special last season. It was their defense. Years gone it was the opposite.
Now that the defense has struggled they aren't winning.

Imo, the odd one out there is Terepo - he offers little.

Alvaro is safer, and a better defender;

Gower has more skill, and experience;

Taka and Smith, for all their brain farts, have plenty of creativity, and skill;

Stone is still learning the trade at this level.

Terepo is an 8-year veteran, whose development has stalled, and he offers little.

Just my opinion.

I’ll say it’s regressed not stalled

Thats our problem, Taka,Stone,Smith,Gower,Terepo,Alvaro. Although most are reliable they are certainly not great and wouldn't make the top 17 of the better teams. And that's where we struggle if they become part of our team thru injury or suspension which BA needs to rectify next year..

You say that but the Storm run Max King out most weeks. Only player I'd swap him for his Penishands (Smith excluded because it's a different role)

You do seem to have the opposite of rose coloured glasses. Should we still sign Packer for 600k?

They don’t make the top 17 of our own team. Gower, Smith and Alvaro haven’t played this year and Stone has only been there because of injuries/suspensions. Taka hasn’t been in our 17 for weeks. Only Terepo has been a mainstay.

Are you planning to reappear on the site if we win this weekend? You didn't have much to say til this week. Most of the blokes that you've just mentioned aren't in our Top 17.

Yes but when they do our bench lacks punch, the good teams don't lose that much intensity with their better replacements.

Merkins, they were saying on NRL Tonight that we are still on the lookout for a 14, now that Segayaro isn’t available.

Does that mean that we need to secure a rake by 30 June or has that date been waived because covid ?

What's the go with Segeyaro? ASADA pin him?

Are you saying that the Roosters, Storm, Raiders, Panthers don’t lose anything when some of their top 17 players are missing. That’s rubbish.

Oh and if you haven’t yet checked, we are one of the good teams this year.

He hasn't checked. He spent the first five rounds looking at the scores after the fact, begging for a loss so he could come on here and moan about it

Looks like he’s toast.

Former Cronulla and Brisbane hooker James Segeyaro could be given the opportunity to front an anti-doping tribunal within weeks after the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Agency referred the matter back to the NRL for a final call on the 29-year-old’s future.

Segeyaro has been sidelined since October last year after testing positive to di-hydroxy LGD-4033, a substance banned by the NRL and the World Anti-Doping Authority (WADA).

It is understood the matter has been finalised by ASADA, who informed both the NRL and Segeyaro last week that the issue was ready to be dealt with by an anti-doping tribunal.

Segeyaro is facing a four-year ban but his lawyer Tim Fuller told The Australian on Thursday that he remained hopeful that the ban would be reduced and the hearing could be heard within a short time frame.
