He's learnt. Most knew the re-signing of Hayne was a desperate step but he went there anyway. Another reason why our recruitment had to become a committee decision.
Re-signing Hayne was done to appease the thousands of fans who demanded it. Had nothing to do with what was best for the team and BA knew it all along. Sometimes, you have to do what the customer wants. Hayne's re-signing provided a membership boost.

Poor leadership.
He was offered a contract at The Dragons wasn't he. Every chance he'd have been under the bed with JDB.

Looking across the off contract players, there doesn’t appear to be anyone with the magor requirement the club needs. A strike back with that element of speed that the backline lacks.

Imagine we don’t have mega bucks to spend, any ideas if there is a realistic target for the club?

Too late now but before he signed elsewhere, my dream backline (which I posted here previously) would have been:

1. Hynes
2. Sivo
3. Opa
4. Drown
5. Blake
6. Gutho
7. Moses

Could we have afforded that?

probably only Sivo and Opa are cheap.

Then we have to pay for our pack

probably don’t need a starting back if Will P is ready for 2022, reckon there is a good chance WIll starts 2022 with Blake wing
Dunster vs Fergo vs Waqa.

Fergo would have been more effective in returning the ball last week, however Dunster makes good decisions in defence. Where does Waqa slot in here ?

He’s talking about 2022 and Fergo has no contract.
This is true, however in the context of last week, Fergo would have been more aggressive than Dunster, however Haze definitely made better decisions in D. With respect to Waqa on the wing, what does he bring other than his ability with the high ball ? Wondering out loud why Waqa is being considered for the wing ? Is he likely to be better than Haze ? Is shifting Waqa improving the side ?
