I really think Gutho is between a rock and a hard place in these upcoming talks. I highly doubt many clubs are going to pay more than what he’s on already here at Parra.

He’s a very good player but it’s pretty clear he’s not in that upper echelon of fullbacks. If our season continues to falter a new coach might just be thinking he’s the most dispensable player coming off contract.

From what is coming out of the media its seems quite clear where some of the leaks are coming from. Gutho isnt doing himself any favours with his manager using the media again to push his agenda. Especially when he is still contracted for another year FFS.

Fans aren't falling for it again like 2019. Club probably stuffed up by lowballing him too much in the first place last time. But 700k should be a reasonable offer for him. If he wants more well he knows where the door is.
