That would fit the narrative, but doesn't make sense. The game plan has been working for them. When they went away from it against the Roosters they got flogged. They tried to score on every set instead of building pressure, which is how they beat them the first time.
Yep, lazy stupid untalented players!!

Just stick to the mediocre game plans!!

Or Manly spotted them and they are now a legitimate option for a premiership while we would struggle to beat a bottom 4 team.

Again nonsense statement that makes very little sense by the forums resident pou.
You think Manly are a premiership threat because of guys like Keppie and Aloiai? When Trbojevic was out last year and early this year those Parra juniors were gash.

The way the team is playing atm proves BA has lost the dressing room. The is no desire or aggression from the team, they look lost and clueless.
Had Hasler lost the dressing room at the start of the year when they were getting flogged? A loss of form and confidence could mean plenty of things. Automatically blaming the coach shows you're a person looking for a quick fix.

And how do you know that he isn't on that? Are you his accountant?
It doesn't matter the exact value. I'm just saying it's sus that Ivan Cleary was the scapegoat, went to the Tigers where he did f**k all, then was quickly brought back when the Panthers were desperately trying to re-sign his son. He must've really f**ken impressed them with his results at Wests ffs

No he lost his best player. Same thing used to happen with us when we had Hayne.

Our situation is worse because we were prick teased during the season.

Unless you picked us for a top 4 spot at the start of the season, a look at our draw before Round 1 would show that our second half of the season was going to be tougher than the first. Personally I am disgusted at the performances we have put in since the Raiders game, but despite the scorelines, I have not been surprised by who got the 2 points.

I Remember a few years ago after Sharks lost a game he articulated very well why, how etc they lost.
They had not executed the game plan. Yes he has shown he has a good read of the game, can attract talent and would bring his own people in. I know that with Elkin there was drama there but the club needs to pull the trigger on who will be the coach going forward.
I have been a season ticket holder for 22 years straight. This is not a threat but if Arthur is coach, with the same playing and coaching personnel I won't renew. 6 tickets not renewed. In grand scheme of things the club wont give 2 sh*ts about me not renewing however if others start doing the same it will have a flow on effect...
You can only stomach so much.
You won’t be alone in questioning renewal mate

I predicted us to come 6th but without a prick tease.

I did a ladder prediction before the season started and looked at where we would sit after each round. Didnt have us beating the Storm but had us beating the Dragons so after 5 rounds I had us 4-1. I also had us at 7-3 after 10 rounds, but knew we would struggle in the back half to win more than 4 of our last 10 games.

My prick tease has been minimal, but still very painful.

It's one thing to lose, it's another to lose in the fashion we have recently. Many teams below us don't play well, or gave gun players, but they do show some fight and have the ability to defend basic plays and even put on some attacking moves.

If we had lost the last few games showing some fight, but were outclassed then the argument about the quality of the roster would hold more weight.

There are serious attitude issues plainly visible, and to me that is in the domain of the coach to fix.

There is nothing wrong with losing to Manly or Souths. Even the Roosters.
It's the manner we lost. A fashion and scoreline that I doubt the Bulldogs would of even copped

Let's see how we've managed points.
Against Penrith,Roosters,Souths and Manly.

Penrith 2 x tries.
A bomb with a tap back and a pass and Sivo in corner. Then Papali with a Edwards dropped bomb or left to bounce. To lucky tries. Nothing well constructed.

Roosters - Duck eggs.

Souths- Scoreline was 32 -0. Do we score if it was 6 nil? I don't think so personally. Souths switched off. We did though manage 2 well constructed triesm

Manly - As above. A few tries right at end of half when game was done and dusted. But a lovely flick pass by Matterson and a kick by D.Brown. Both good tries.

Is 6 tries in 4 games. 2 where nothing but pot luck. And the other 4 was once the game was dusted and 30+ points down.

We should be doing better than conceding 130 points in three weeks. At full strength we competed well against Melbourne, Easts and Penrith. As soon as we had a key player missing against Souths (x2), Manly (x2) and Easts we shat ourselves. We shouldn't necessarily beat any of these teams, but we should beat at least a couple. We certainly shouldn't be getting flogged three weeks in a row. They have the talent to be top eight certainties, but are playing like a bottom four team. They have given up.

Yep, well summarised.

That's how I feel - we probably aren't a good enough squad to be a title threat without some serious additions, but we are better than we have shown the last 4 weeks.
