Will Penisini is already the best centre at the club, why did it take so long to get him into the side??? His debut against Canberra showed he belonged, too much hair and not scrawny enough i suspect. He's one major problem solved.

I didn't see much of him in nsw cup but reading on here the knock on here seemed he struggles defensively.

Laurie Daley put pressure on him at the start of the year labelling him just as talented as suuali from the roosters.

He hasnt looked out of place i dont think his side has conceded a try yet in 3 games of first grade.

He is strong as well and was able to handle to most physical centre in the game in Olam.

I saw Will in NSW cup amd was under whelmed. His defense looked awful and I thought he was a year away atleast.
I was very suprised how good his defense has been. It may of been a little rust as not much footy for almost a year when I saw him play.
I like him. Strong runner. Opacic is a great defender also just less talented in attack.

From what I saw Penisini was a good attacking player in the lower grades. I think Opacic is too much of a liability in attack for a team that struggles to score points. He’s been making too many errors lately as well. I hope Penisini can cement his position in first grade now as I suspect Opacic would have been the first choice centre if he hadn’t sustained the rib injury.

There are 5/8s like Cody Walker with finesse and provides the try assists for his team (provided the play is on the left), Luai much the same but not as good, then you have Munster who is a big body lock with a license to roam and then you have Dylan Brown. He is the link player and the guy who tidies up all game in defence. At 21 he’s one of the first players picked in our team and the pelicans here who have been giving it to him all season need to give themselves an uppercut. Behind the elite players Walker, Munster and Luai seriously who would you swap him for ? I don’t think I’d swap him for Keary and can’t think of any player beyond that who is worthy.

Anyone else hoping we re-sign Fergo? I think with Sivo missing at the start of next season our depth is going to be tested on the wings. He’s still pretty good at scoring tries with limited space that a lot of other wingers wouldn’t be able to score.

And he's ruck outs are valuable

Same goes for me, I actually cancelled couple of weeks ago, I’ve had enough, and the re signing of these hacks had only validated my decision!

Yes it’s been a long time coming, but Waqa has been earning his money in the last month. One of our best players now.

I love DylBro. I've always been a huge fan.

And given his youth, I'm stoked at where he is at in terms of his development.

Let’s not get carried away. Dylan Brown has plenty left to prove. He deserves all the praise he received for last night but he also deserved a lot of the criticism he received for his performances earlier this season.

I can't think of too many 21-year old halves who can do what Dylan can, tbh.

He is far from polished - he's only 21 -, but he is coming along nicely.

He's already worth his weight in gold for his defensive desire alone.

Yeah it doesn’t make sense to me expecting a 21 year old half to play like a 27 year old half. That’s my point entirely and for what he brings to the team, you should cut him some slack.

I think it says a lot about the standard of halves in the NRL atm. There just aren’t that many good ones.

I don’t think anyone expects him to be playing like a seasoned veteran. There was one stage a few weeks ago where he had a solo try assist after 16 NRL games. If he’s going to be an NRL half he needs to be better than that. I think he’s capable of much more than what he was showing (judging by his rookie season). I hope he continues his form from last nights game going into the finals.
