I think he has a bit of toe too and coming into his best years.

Mind you I don't know what his top speed is and whether he has that explosive speed in the first 5 metres or so that the best speedsters tend to have. He clocked 35.5km in that video and looked as though he had more speed if needed, but how much more and does he need to wind up to get to full speed? If so that isn't as good as the guys that make things happen at the blink of an eye. Winding up is more Fergo like, but Fergo was probably the best finisher in the game.
Moses for example can go to at least 36.1km and all the real speedsters get up to the high 36s and over 37km. Ado-Carr has been clocked at 38.5km and is the fastest of all time.
But the most crucial thing with all the speedsters is that initial few steps. That is the difference between many full breaks or not getting the chance to make the break in the first place or only half breaks.
That is why I like Xavier Savage and think he will be a star. He has blinding speed and footwork from the get go. Also I think he was clocked at 42km in a lower grade Raiders game, but I can't verify that at this point. But if true he would blow everyone out of the water and be the fastest player to have every played NRL. If he can handle the collision and the weekly rigors of the NRL he will be an absolute superstar.
