Imo Sivo and N.Brown shouldn't of been re signed untill we sorted Mahoney and Papa. But hindsight easy.
I feel we prob lose RCG amd keep the rest.

And twice at Our Eels. His gig at Newy is 2 days as a consultant. I get the idea hes not really rated to be more than a gun for hire.

Winners are grinners ... no matter how many years have passed.

Players from the mighty Parramatta Eels teams of the 1980s that won four premierships in six years, held their annual reunion over a liquid lunch — that soon became a liquid dinner — at Sofitel in Darling Harbour over the weekend.

Sadly, Ray Price, Paul Taylor, Peter Sterling and Chris ‘Howya’ Phelan couldn’t make it into Sydney because of the Covid restrictions, but we’re sure those in attendance had a beer or two for all of them.

He can play big minutes, 60 mins plus, and is defensive very good and aggressive. Plus can offload/ball play.

obviously not elite but ok signing.

Yeah I know nobody has signed anywhere yet, but this whole saga is a reminder of why I f**king hate this club, and I must of been a real prick in my past lifetime to be born a supporter of this merkin of a club. We are gong to be stuck with Princess Gutho and Jake Arthur and lose the players we actually needed to keep.

I don't rate Johns as a member of coaching staff. I was disputing his alleged reason for leaving. I reckon he's been rissoled.

Seems to provide leadership too. Dudes that drive the culture are always worth a bit more than just their playing ability. But not $100k-200k more ffs Gutho

Nothings happened yet. We've lost nobody. RCG is getting closer to 30. Better a year to early then a year to late. He wants out now while he is in great form. If he took up his player option and had a poor season Eels may not take up his 2024 option and his price could drop 300k or more. Forwards form drop a little and the price tag at his age would nose dive heaps.
His best bet would be securing a 3 yr deal for 2023 onwards now while in peak form.
