Yeah that seems to be the narrative here, but on not a lot of real evidence.

I mean yeah the press is milking it for all it's worth, like they did last time, but I truly wonder how much benefit there is for either Gutho or his manager in the way it's being reported? I'd say f**k all, so you'd have to wonder why they would be the ones driving it?

I guess it could be that they're just dumb merkins and have no f**king idea about how to handle negotiations, and all the merkins here that can see the obvious issues are far better informed of how to go about it.

What? The evidence is all the quotes his manager has given to the press. So imagine what he is telling them behind the scene. Gutho is a total idiot for allowing this to happen. Why would you allow it since you can still get a great deal by being more professional like Moses has shown?

Penrith's defense was rock solid all season. Gutherson also brings energy and puhses guys at training.

Gutherson overplays his hand in attack which is the main reason Dylan Brown’s attack has been stifled. He is however a great defensive fullback.

It doesn't have to be quoted in an article....it's obvious they all want more money than their previous contracts.

Only problem is, they haven't achieved anything since there last contract to justify more money.
