According to this list here we had 3 players in the top 25 paid players featuring in the finals in Moses, Gutherson and RCG whilst the Panthers had 1 in Cleary and the Storm had 2 in Munster and Hughes.

If you're looking for superstars go with the top ten or even top five. There aren't 25 superstars in the game.

Really? I taught both Egan and Nat. Egan had a few injuries (ACL and I think a shoulder issue) that delayed his progress into first grade but he seems to have kicked on pretty well.

What did you teach them?

It’s not untested. It didn’t work. If it was such a great idea then we would have used that revolutionary setup during our finals matches when Mahoney was out. Having Gutherson at hooker took him away from being first or second receiver and blunted our edge attack. Not to mention the workload became ludicrous for even someone at fit as Gutherson which would in turn affect things like positioning and decision making.

It's better than being forced to play a reserve grade dummy half who can't defend in the middle. When you're down on depth you need to improvise. Putting one of your other spine players at dummy half is a decent stop gap solution for when you don't have a backup on the bench. Spine players should naturally already have the handling and decision making skills for dummy half. What's the alternative? Carrying Kyle Schneider on the f**king bench?
