and every pack needs those kinda guys. like i said for a 5th/6th string guy hes quite good if not exceptional. if he was 1 or 2 id share your concern. at full strength he isnt on the bench, he'd be starting NSW cup.

I have no concern. I think he is solid. I do hope Hollis and Greig leapfrog him tho.

Not top shelf guys. RCG defense is awesome and his run game is awesome.
Anyhows I was not putting Maka down. He is fine I was just stating where I think other guys are at and their potential.
Definitely RCG is great….

👍of course.

with Papa / Marata / Kaufusi leaving, potentially don’t reckon we will lose to much in 2023 in the middle (we will need to strengthen our edge quality/depth) with a combo Ogden/Greig (attacking style player) with a Maka / Rodwell (workers / defensively strong) on the bench…..then there is the younger players Hollis / Moretti etc ….

Been watching some matches from 2019 on NRL and gee we had a team with some truly poor players such as Taka, Evans, Morera, Salmon, Hoffman, Mannah, Alvaro, Terepo and probably a few more I can't remember. Not sure how we finished 4th with a third of the squad being those players. Compare those players with what we have now and we're worlds apart in the quality of the squad. Good year coming up imo, should be top 4 easily but as usual the 'experts' don't even mention us.

Thats alright. I remember 2006, 2008, 2010, 2018 when we were in top 3 favourites pre-season and flopped badly.

I prefer flying under the radar.

We had similar expectations last year i feel below the top rung but still good enough for top 6.

We beat Melbourne round 2 everyone believed and expectations rose before our mid to late season slump.
