What did I say to upset you now ?

Sorry I thought you were having a go at me. So you were actually legit asking a question?

Yes they do still have to pay royalties when using their under licence(copy write) music for business purposes, even if it is only partial.

Can you use 30 seconds of a copyrighted song?
This is one of the most common misconceptions. Unfortunately, this is not true and there is no bright line rule that says a use is an acceptable use as long as you only use 5, 15, or 30 seconds of a song. Any use of copyrighted material without permission is, according to U.S. copyright law, copyright infringement.

There are a heap of better songs with Paradise in the name than Cold Play. For a start both

Guns n Roses - Paradise City
Green Day - Welcome to Paradise

would be less likely to induce insomnia than Coldplay.

The song 'You'll never walk alone' could be an ode to an alcoholic who hears it just before he passes out. Yet, it's the most famous song sung by sport fans in the world(at least English speaking world).

To sing Paradise City, we'll need to pop a pill before we enter the gates at Commbank.

For a crowd to sing you need slow, uplifting lyrics.

What a final moment in a Parra jersey though

Issue is 2 of our top 30 are gone for season. Both are probably in our best 17. But maybe the two easiest to replace if had to pick 2 of your top 17 to go down with ACLs.

On Stone its ironic. He gave the extra effort and cost him the season at a time he was finally starting to look good and like an NRL player. He does seem Injury prone and since debut I don't think he has played a full season once.

How about Millwall's song I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles. It's about being a born looser.

Like, "I've Never Been to Me"? That'd be a real hoot.

You're Going Home in the Back of a Divvy Van isn't slow.

I'd just change the pronuciation of the chorus in "Panama" and be done with. People only have to sing one word, they can air guitar and jump up and down the rest of the time. Aussies aren't great crowd singers.

Two syllable word followed by three claps is as good as you're gonna get.

Saw Dylbags having breakfast at the cafe down the street from my house this morning. He must be a local, it's not the type of place you go out of your way to get to on a Monday morning, usually frequented by locals .... If I see him tomorrow I'll ask him he prefers playing in the halves or the centres....
Well we lost a winger again on Saturday night.

So surprised we didnt carry a backup half on the bench so Dylan could go out the centres seeing as it was good enough for round 1.
