You should probably do some statistical analysis on it. Perhaps his last post was an outlier?Come on Pou, that’s lazy analysis. You’re better than that, or at least I thought you were.
They certainly are. Since joining our club he has had to attempt 20+ tackles per game every year until last year when we got much better at hiding him and he attempted just over 15 per game. This year he is at <19 attempts per game but missing so many.
Its alright he ate fish while mowing.By the way @Gronk you shouldn’t be working on a Good Friday FFS.
He’s making more of his runs against a retreating defence. That’s why they’re turning into line breaks.
He did say "Maybe it's the diet" when questioned about his good form, then got cagey when asked what it was. I wonder. He has physically developed and gotten stronger as a player/man and that is why he is breaking through tackles that a year or two ago he would have been stopped. Also and this is the most pleasing aspect of his game, he has learnt to take the space on offer and take it to the line commit defenders and then pass. This also gives him a better chance to break through the tackle or simply go through because the defenders are still a little spread out and he has a one on one or confused standoffish defense watching and not tackling. This also gives his supports the optimum opportunities to do something if he does pass the ball once the defense has been committed.
There is a feeling about our club at the moment that hasn't been here for many years. It's hard to explain but it's like a positive aura and almost an expectation of inevitable success and glory.
Always, why?did you wake up with an erection ?
did you wake up with an erection ?
And dosent leave a tip either.
Always, why?
Further to the above does anyone know who gets the credit for the 9 at lock innovation? I'd guess Bellamy but against the field not with any confidence. This new innovation of 9s playing at lock in scrums signals that the scrum rule changes that came in over the last 2 or 3 years have been a really good and successful idea.
Scrums had become a big nothing but now they are very much something to be contended with for defenses.
There are very few locks in the game over the last 30 years who would have scored that try Cook scored from the scrum last night.
Us rule change advocates can take a bow.
Okay.Piggy ridell played some lock for us in 05 when marsh came on
The dummy half has been at the back of attacking scrums for years. This clip shows it was a thing at least as early as 2014:This new innovation of 9s playing at lock in scrums signals that the scrum rule changes that came in over the last 2 or 3 years have been a really good and successful idea.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Brian Smith.Further to the above does anyone know who gets the credit for the 9 at lock innovation? I'd guess Bellamy but against the field not with any confidence.
Okay.
That didn't start a trend (edit: actually it is more than a trend as all 9s play lock in attack now) and was not likely an innovation in response to a rule change.
