@Gronk Id suggest you have a read of TCT's latest Bumpers Up edition.
Maybe you could set them straight on their understanding of the Development/Second Tier players eligibility to play NRL.

I just watched a prerecorded episode of the Matty Johns Podcast Show Ep4 on Fox. It was so good and I strongly recommend it to anyone that has access to it to take a look.

He and Cooper Cronk covered so much of what I and others here have been on about when it comes to training and structures. In particular I liked the way Cronk explained how to train with the back rowers and the relationship between the two. Stuff that I have been harping on about for a few years now and how important it is to a team.

It only re-enforced to me that we don't do what Cronk was recommending. If we were we would see a totally different Parra out wide and the way they interact. They discussed that and so much more that we as a team don't do all that well enough at all. Not because our halves and backrowers or other players aren't talented enough(like some here keep suggesting) but because I guarantee they don't do it the way Cronk recommends and the repetitive amount of times that are necessary to get it perfect and ingrained as a natural part of how you play.

But so much was explained and broken down, even Dylan's running game. I recommend it very much. That way when I'm stressing out and blowing up as to why our players don't seem to know each other out there and run the wrong lines or bump into each other or run out of space or can't capitalise on a weakness it makes sense and isn't me just being negative and just to critical of a team that doesn't have the talent to do better. We just don't train well enough or long enough doing what needs to be done to get it right. I would put pou's left nut on it.

The proof is in the way we play. A one dimensional power game and hope that that will be enough if we can sustain it all game, all season and into the play offs.

It's a huge if.

f**k, and only you and Cronk knew about it? Just think what that knowledge could be worth to an NRL club! If only we had people at our club who had been involved in coaching at a place like the Melbourne Storm. Or even ones who had watched as much footy as yourself, TheRam. No excuses ffs!

I like Cronk's commentary. He's as good as Gasnier. Better than Cam on Ch.9.

Interesting what you said about Melbourne coz didn't BA do his apprenticeship there?

In all fairness that doesn’t mean anything. Without saying anything about the coaching staff at Parramatta I would say you are assuming everyone is competent at their jobs. That’s a huge assumption.
