Imagine leaving a team mid season who is going to play finals, for a team that probably won't.As poor as we have been at times this year, effectively pushing cap to future years is wasteful IMO. If moving Nrown doesn’t result in us getting a better player than Nrown then it shouldn’t be done.
Geeze you get a gold medal for trolling your own club. Relentless sledging is clearly a skill which requires a steely focus to maintain such a constant negative mindset. Well done you.Sitting on our hands while other sides strengthen??? That doesn’t sound like us at all does it?? We’ll probably just front load and upgrade and extend Jakey. Or even Bring Matty Arthur into the top 30.
If only Bea Arthur could put that Steely focus into the team. It’s only been 9 years and we can barely play more than 20 mins at a time.Geeze you get a gold medal for trolling your own club. Him, she, cat……..well I went back to last year……as no one has really suggested Sivo should be gone this year (only played 5 games this year) so I assumed he was referring to our frustrations with Sivo last year………Him and Gronk will happily go back years to win a point on the internet. Sivo was a lazy prick that was playing like shit. You were spot on. If the coach had a pair he would of been dropped before he got injured.

Here, let’s do a exercise in positive mindset. Maybe you can join in.If only Bea Arthur could put that Steely focus into the team. It’s only been 9 years and we can barely play more than 20 mins at a time.
Well, they may not be the best NRL brain trust…but 4 years in row making the semis….and no salary cap issues may indicate they are one of the better management teams…….suspect some clubs wouId prefer our board / GM / etc etc …Parra has always had a talent ID issue. The fact that they had not already signed Papa do a deal
And let the tigers (a team coming last) sign him shows exactly where the coach and management are at our club. Fancy letting the Dally M second rower to the year walk.
The current management at Parra don’t know what they are doing. Led by a CEO who has no football club experience.
What about d fafita
Is he disgruntled?
I agree mate Lane should be there over Martin. Martin's a massive plodder and has no ball skills at all. Lane at least would offer a point of difference and an offload. Don't think I saw Martin do anything for the whole series. Also in regards to who Freddy should have been looking at in the backrow for SOO this year. Form players are just as important as combinations if not at times more so. I believed he erred big time by relying way to heavily on Panther combos and not looking at the right balance of the team of what type of player SOO needs to win and even body shape.
Who would you rather be in your team

Fitler didn't even have him in consideration and invite him to training to see first hand at what he might have to offer. Lane is a gun and I would love to see what a great coach like Bennett, Bellamy or Robinson would do for his game, in fact I could say the same about virtually our whole team actually. Ah to dream.
Anyway Lane can play in the middle and has ball skills that most forwards don't. By every marker Lane has been a better player this season then both Liam Martin and Angus Crichton. Oh and by the way we still don't use Lane the right way and to his full potential, but at least D. Brown is getting better at it.
How desperate would you have to be to put in a clause like that lol
On Sivo, I am slightly amazed how well he has come back from his ACL power wise. Very good to see. He isn't playing any worse then before his injury, which is better then I expected. Same old Sivo really. Rocks and or diamonds and his ours.
Sivo, Sivo, Sivo...
Who gives a f**k!! It’s means SFA in the grand scheme of things. We should be pushing for a title with a 9 year coach and one of the most settled spines in the comp behind a very good pack. But we are light years from being a contender as much as you and others want to believe it.Here, let’s do a exercise in positive mindset. Maybe you can join in.
Since 2019 the Eels have been in the top 8 for 100% of the time or 87 games straight. Which other teams in the entire NRL can say that ?
Storm
Assuming it goes beyond mutual agreement to terminate, Papa would have to prove it was explicitly part of the offer or acceptance. Even then it could be questioned why it wasn’t included in contract terms
