Well, they may not be the best NRL brain trust…but 4 years in row making the semis….and no salary cap issues may indicate they are one of the better management teams…….suspect some clubs wouId prefer our board / GM / etc etc …
That says more about the other clubs than it does about us to be honest. How many clubs are actually that well run??? We are middle of the road and our result show us this.

“Yay we aren’t that shit anymore”

Also in regards to who Freddy should have been looking at in the backrow for SOO this year. Form players are just as important as combinations if not at times more so. I believed he erred big time by relying way to heavily on Panther combos and not looking at the right balance of the team of what type of player SOO needs to win and even body shape.

Who would you rather be in your team

Fitler didn't even have him in consideration and invite him to training to see first hand at what he might have to offer. Lane is a gun and I would love to see what a great coach like Bennett, Bellamy or Robinson would do for his game, in fact I could say the same about virtually our whole team actually. Ah to dream.

Anyway Lane can play in the middle and has ball skills that most forwards don't. By every marker Lane has been a better player this season then both Liam Martin and Angus Crichton. Oh and by the way we still don't use Lane the right way and to his full potential, but at least D. Brown is getting better at it.
If my memory serves me correctly, Fittler did speak about Lane but I think that was last year.
If he can stay engaged in the game he is a very good player. Its those lapses and laziness which let's him down. These lapses have been less lately and he has probably been our best forward this year

Assuming it goes beyond mutual agreement to terminate, Papa would have to prove it was explicitly part of the offer or acceptance. Even then it could be questioned why it wasn’t included in contract terms
False or misleading statements as an inducement to sign an employment contract are set in stone. Page 2

Who gives a f**k!! It’s means SFA in the grand scheme of things. We should be pushing for a title with a 9 year coach and one of the most settled spines in the comp behind a very good pack. But we are light years from being a contender as much as you and others want to believe it.
You need to do a daily Gratitude Diary. Each day you write down 5 new things you are grateful for about the Eels. It’s an exercise that remaps your neural pathways that lead to your repetitive negative mindset.

Based on that, IF Papali'i wishes to renege, they are in trouble - the obvious connection being that McGuire is the Test coach, and Papali'i is a Test player, does not require proof, as it is fact.

Interesting times ahead.

Sivo is still a lazy merkin and will still be a massive liability comes finals time. Yeah he can finish a try but as I said in the NRL forum he’s just the wish version of Semi. Wait till the Riff, Storm and Cows expose him like a Portuguese chicken. Avenger was right about him and doing some good stuff against a shit team like the Warriors means SFA in the scheme of things.
He only ran the ball eight times on Friday.

He has gone on the record as saying that he was looking forward to joining up with his Test coach.

Money aside, that comment seems to imply quite heavily that playing for McGuire was a huge bonus for Papali'i.

I hope he does renege, if for no other reason than it will teach clubs to not sack coaches halfway through their deals...
But unless he explicitly says that to Tigers before accepting the offer then he can’t use it to renege

Because we can’t beat the good teams?

Papali’i would still require to show he signed with Tigers to play specifically for Maguire. He can’t use the facts around Maguire and his other employments to prove it. Facts are he signed to play with us and BA at the time wasn’t the NZ coach

Exactly winning the comp should be the goal not showing off how many times you have made the 8. These f**king losers are a joke.

But he didn't state to the media his excitement to play under the current New Zealand Test coach, which he did when he signed for the Wigers.

I always thought that Lane could do a job for us at a good price, he still has some lazy moments caused by fatigue and poor bench rotations but he has definitely been our surprise packet of the season.

No doubt he can play but he’s lazy not sure that can be coached out of him. I fear he’d be exposed in origin.

So you are saying BA needs to coach NZ.

If papa thought madge was still going to be coach at the Tigers in 2023 he is dumber then I thought.

Madge has been a dead man walking for 2 years.

There was no way he was going to survive the season.
