You should be a good son and make sure he isn’t packing a 50 kilo package. My Dads 79 and can still lift 50kgs.
The only thing we can all be assured of, is that contracts arent worth the paper they are written on .... amirite!
You don’t need a clause necessarily. There is precedent when an employer makes a false or misleading pre-contract assurance or warranty to incentivise you to accept an offer. Repudiation by employer is grounds for termination.

No, @Wally21 stated a few thoughts of his own. You know, like he had an opinion. You weren't even mentioned.
The bolded sentence of yours is poor form.
I think the plausible scenario would be Papali’i seeking that assurance, Wigers giving it to him without thought to legality surrounding doing so and then excluded it from contract, intentionally or not and Papali’i either hasn’t picked it up or wilfully overlooked it because he already had assurance/best money available. It would be very odd for a club to promise that they wouldn't fire the coach, or to say we won't enforce the contract if we do. If you want to make that promise, then you put it in the contract. This is an assurance that is 100% contractable, so if you want to include it you do so. It's not like a subjective promise to 'improve the depth of the back line'.
Because they're giving us money to do so?I have no idea but whatever we have obviously isn't exactly state of the art as originally claimed.
If it was, why are we building a state of the art COE with govt money?
Nah they were all linked. My point was that nobody in this thread has said at any stage that “just making the semis is enough”. Yet he and others claims that there is. If there is, then I’d like to see it.
