At the reality of us not changing our footy dna (style) under BA for the remainder of the year we only really have one other level to pull which is other players.

Blake for mine is a natural winger and a great one at that. He needs to be into that wing spot ASAP. Bring Opa in to plug a hole defensively and we are immediately a better defensive side with much more grunt starting our sets.

Ofcourse, the other option is to leave Opa out and have Russell at centre and Blake wing which I’m fine with but let’s not shit can the kid if he makes some non perfect reads week 1. Russell is a real player for the future though potentially.

I’d also bring in Rodwell onto bench with Nrown, Cartwright too.

Lastly I’d start Marata and have Paulo coming off the bench which I thought he did beautifully in Origin.

Well we have plenty of fans, but that's probably not enough. Souths had heaps of fans and did f**k all until they were bought by merkins with money to burn. I think a big part of it is corporate reputation. We've had some big sponsors in the past but haven't really recovered from the salary cap fiasco. Aside from that we only have the PLC tipping money in and it was severely impacted by Covid.
