Our coach has been here 10 years and it’s blatantly obvious we won’t be winning shit with him here.

as a sponsor, how do you feel about the fact BA isn’t naming our strongest 17 on a weekly basis? Is it concerning for you?

Just to clarify, I am not currently a sponsor so can't give you that perspective directly, however if I was and I was looking at things from a non-emotional viewpoint only, I would mostly want my brand associated with:
- a culture of winning, but without grubiness or cheating aka Melbourne
- a no-dickhead policy across the whole club (players, staff, management)
- good tv rights/media coverage for my brand to give me value for my investment

Because I am emotionally attached, I want our strongest 17 named every week and I want us to win every week.
I do realise that both of those things are not always achievable and that I don't have all the details that go into making these decisions and getting the result.

Well we have plenty of fans, but that's probably not enough. Souths had heaps of fans and did f**k all until they were bought by merkins with money to burn. I think a big part of it is corporate reputation. We've had some big sponsors in the past but haven't really recovered from the salary cap fiasco. Aside from that we only have the PLC tipping money in and it was severely impacted by Covid.

Have you seen what is happening at Parramatta it has exploded with businesses and the potential for more and better resources.

No it doesn't. Our big forward tire amd can't get feet out of ground. Moses and Brown are dry weather hot steppers.

BA has built a team for dry warm weather footy. It's certaintly a September team.
Problem is La Niña. We are very unluunlucky.

We beat Melbourne in the flood waters last year at Commbank in one of the games of the year.

Outside of tedesco atm the top 6 fullbacks can barely stay on the park though.

No one is saying that - so Moses is 100% responsible for our position? He is the problem? So we should let him over $100k and get who? Luke Brooks for $800k? Jacob Arthur for $150k? Drew Hutchison maybe? Will that improve our finishing position.

Just seems like a no-brainer to bring El Zakhem into our 17 - he's performed very well, and as per Lane's [fair enough] admission, this style of footy burns the forwards out.

I think he's worth a shot. Just have to get to make sure that you have enough middles available across the 17.

I keep hearing Wests Tigers are ready to make a splash in rugby league’s player market over the next week.

Multiple sources are claiming the club is poised to sign Panthers winger Charlie Staines while also ready to announce Aaron Woods from the Dragons on a one-year deal.

After a 12-month stint, his homecoming, Woods could then possibly shift into a front office job at the Tigers.

This is 100% the case. His methods are so stale and the rumours of him not even speaking to Nathan Brown anymore (a player with plenty of influence amongst the playing group) alludes to the fact the he may have started losing the dressing room.

No but he is a halfback demanding 1 million you would expect more than just making the 8
