Maybe that thing pissed him off. Or he thinks he's a decent shot at a title this year with us, and it would make him more attractive to other teams. But it probably is for next year too if it happens.

I'd rather we made peace with Nathan Brown ( not the former coach ).

We've been linked with him a few times in the past IIRC, over several years. Would certainly be an upgrade on Kaufusi if he sticks around.

I see him as Nrown’s replacement, particularly in relation to cost.

His avg run metres are down but it’s still over 100m and he is getting less minutes off the bench. He also has a high tackle efficiency still.

And his tackle breaks (1.4) are better then any of our “props” ……

For the right price he is a perfect bench player for 2023, and as good if not better then any of bench props we currently use (Maka, Kaufusi, Marata)……

33 next year really isn’t that old any more for a player…..

The games I’ve seen from his this year he’s been bog average, if it keeps Jakey away from the bench for the rest of this year I can cop it for the rest of the year. Another year is simply madness IMO. We’ll have a team of pensioners before Bea is done.
