I said he could be a smokie. Very fast from dummy half and had wraps at Penrith.
He didn't kick on. I also thought Hollis looked ok and would play NRL.
Most likely both won't. Hope I am wrong.

In the 7 minutes kids defense, I don’t think anyone is displacing him. Not even a good 6 or 8 minute kid.

Gutho made origin in 2020 too but people were more than happy to call him shit most of this year

Nrowns slide is due to injury .... he should get a chance over Maka as the 3rd forward on the bench .... carrying a 4th forward on the bench who will get zero minutes seems pointless

For bulk of season Gutho was rubbish. This is a guy costing 800k, our captain and leader.
Against Penrith when your 2nd highest player runs for 61mtrs as a fullback you start to think what's the 800k for? If be honest was utter shit and went missing.
Look what Latrell,Edwards did. They went up a gear.

Lol stats smats, he was poor in 2021. Constantly overplaying his hand and struggling with the new faster game. Canberra looked a much better team when Starling was on the field. In 2019 he was challenging Scum Smith as the best dummy half in the game. 2021 he struggled to keep starling out of the team. Scum Smiths stats never stood out either even though he was normally the best player on the field.
