But what if the player wants to test himself on the open market?
The kid should of been offered a long term plan and deal. It's piss poor after seeing what happened with Marata,Mahoney,Papali'i you'd think they'd learn.

You reckon Bulldogs will f**k Burtons extension up? Watch them get it done.

How do you know that we haven't broached the subject with Brown's management already, and been advised that he wants to test his value on the open market?

A lot of assumptions are being made here.

Rugby league will have its own Lebron in 2023!

Parramatta has signed a giant prop from the Broncos system, Lebron Tuala.

And while standing at a towering two metres, he is just shy of NBA legend LeBron James (2.06m). The teenage middle forward is only 18 and still growing, with good judges rating him a fine prospect.

At 118 kilograms, he has plenty of bulk as well and moves swiftly for a big kid.

Tuala made a strong impression playing for Norths Devils in the Mal Meninga Cup this season, where he was spotted by Eels scouts.

Blessed with a strong running game and a hard hitter in defence, he's definitely one to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.”

People named LeBron are always the greatest ever at their sports.

This is a great move.

I was being slightly facetious, BTW - while I truly believe that LeBron James is the greatest overall player to have lived (due to his size, skills, and athleticism allowing him to play in literally any position, and kill it), as a GOAT, I can go past Jordan - he had that arrogance, that killer instinct, that made him unbeatable.

Having said that, a kid that stands 2m tall, and weighs 118kg, with agility, definitely sounds like an exciting prospect.

Unfortunately I think Penrith have produced the blue print on how to win in NRL. That is smaller forwards that are fast and agile. They must be superbly fit as their line speed never seems to diminish and they constantly get 2-3 players into every tackle and it's almost impossible to go around them.

The success in Parra beating them is fast line speed in D which they did in the 2 win games but was completely absent in the last game. It appears as if our players are unable to maintain this defensive intensity for more than 3 games AND we must play with 17 players and not 15!!! We now have 3 games to get back (to good Parra) and maintain good D to win the g/f.

Because he knows he can get more money if he waits until November?
It’s a ringing endorsement for the club and coach, I suppose he just saw his two captains squeeze the club for every last drop. Why not him as well??? Hardly this destination hotspot we keep hearing about from Gronk and co……….

Seems sledging BA is the main past time, real question should be on the HOF , losing 6 NRL players last November and who have they been replaced with. There should be a decent inward looking review on first grade recruitment from the board, not only on pathways. Crucial the gains made over the last 6/7 years are not lost due to slow action from that level, not to mention the extension of the halves.

Remember we don't pay over anymore so if he wants to wait till Nov 1 that means he wants to squeeze every cent out of us. May as well pull pin and chase someone else.

CAUSE WE DONT PAY OVERS FFS
