Yeah Ricky come with a terrible squad. He then got signed up
Peats,Norman,Hopoate. All 3 where huge quality upgrades.
He blooded Semi while Manu was in NSW CUP mid year and KE come across. By 2014 Semi,KE and MANU where all ready for NRL. Add those 3 very good players to Peats,Norman and Hopoate and that's a huge increase in quality.
Its easy to say BA come when we where last. I call bullshit that he come at a bad time. He come at a time similar to what Ciraldo is at the Dogs.
Easy to best Pay and Barrett up. They never had a chance. Same as SK and Ricky when here.

Only Player you listed that is any good is Semi and he was brought through without any help from Sticky.

Sticky also shat the bed at the sharks prior to coming to the Eels and now has players partners social media'ing their dislike for his him.

this is the main concern...BA's hell bent propulsion of his son's career is causing the club to eat itself!

It was always going to be an issue that was hurt the team at some point. I said 12 months ago after the game in Mackay against the Chooks where Jake had a shocker that it would cause dramas.

BA has probably pushed it too far naming him in a crucial semi final.

I was hoping we got to the end of the season where the club, BA and JA could have had a mature discussion about loaning Jake away for 12 months to take the heat off Jake and let him develop without the scrutiny and prove he is good enough for first grade.

That's not true. Peats was in origin. In 2014 he was one of the beat hookers in comp. He turned heads.
Norman also played some very good footy. Not a superstar but not terrible.
That Spine at the time wasn't much different to now. Peats at his best was far superior to Mahoney. Hayne twice the player of Guth.
Sandow and Norman where not Moses and Browns quality but far from hopeless.

Well JA wasn’t in the top 17 for some of worse losses this year:

tigers
Dogs
Roosters
South’s first game

No way JA had to have played a part in those losses! He must have breathed on some of the players before the game to give them his bad juju!

There is no way any of the other 29 players in our top 30 could be a reason why we finished 4th.....................................

Neither was Manu, Edwards played the last game. The 2014 lacked depth but it was a infinitely better squad than 2011-13.
