- JA started round 7 and 8, due to our back injuries crisis

He only played NRL 4 times until round 18…

Nrown started each game between rounds 2 and 14, starting 8 times..

He was then drop round 15 for Rodwell but got a start in round 17…

So JA was hardly in the team when Nrown was dropped….

then BA said he was picking him towards the end of the season, but had broken his finger….

Based on who the source was and the timing and location of when it was said, I'd say it could be bullshit... not saying it is for sure but more than plausible.

and increasing intensity wears you out quicker leading to fatigue, which is amplified when you don't use your entire bench and expect big boys to play long minutes week after week

I think there were just fewer strong clubs back then. Look at our past six years in the finals. Seven losses but all/most of them to bigger clubs:

3 Melbourne
2 Penrith
1 Souths
1 North Queensland

In the past two years we’ve played two thirds of finals against Penrith, who have been dominant. In the four years before that Melbourne were dominant, winning two premierships. Half our finals matches in that time were against them.

I'd like someone to break down BA's tenure and jot down a quick summary. Cos under Sticky we came last in 2013.

I'm sure one of you could do it better than me.

2014 - 10th squad was a basket case
2015 - 12th squad still shit.
2016 - 8th * picked up Foran, Flash Gordon, Mennings, Cam King
2017 - 4th
2018 - spoon - Jarryd Hayne came back
2019 - 5th
2020 - 3rd
2021 - 6th
2022 - 4th

* We were docked 12 points because of the cap shit storm

Very poor if true. I’ve heard Brad Arthur say that he asked the players for their opinions on whether Jake should be in the team. If he’s only willing to accept yes as an answer then it would be rather disingenuous of him to act as if their opinions actually mattered in the end.

Players opinion regarding his son mean nothing, the man is deluded, more will be exposed!

The report doesn't seem to have too much directly to do with the operations of the NRL side, but the fact that it has been leaked is interesting. It's doubtful Brown would've leaked it, so it has to be someone within the club. I suspect this could be a "first strike" prelude of what may follow should we fail to get over the Raiders tomorrow night.
