It's surprising he didn't take one of the offers given that his Dad didn't pick him sometimes due to claims of nepotism.Obviously because we’ve been told 3 clubs were chasing him.

Ja aligns with his dadLaney will be shit again when a couple of offloads don't come off.
It is fun having Jake but I'm WTF at the year extension. Just why?
I wonder if they have shoes.Perfect for BA.
All of them aren't any threat to take over any head coaching roles just the way BA likes it.
Only lives 7 mins away from training. Saves in not using any petrol. So JA is a top 17 player, has had clubs chasing him throughout the year and been significantly disadvantaged because his dad wouldn’t pick him sometimes, yet he chose to stay for us on a cheap minimum wage deal?
Well at this stage Matto shouldn't even be in the conversation for a starting spot. He has tossed away that right as far as I am concerned. So do we think Murchie goes straight into the starting edge, for Papali'i?
And Hopgood gets the starting middle "fluffer" spot (that was Nuikore's) before Matterson comes on after 20mins?
Matterson won’t be coming on for at least the first 240 minutes. So do we think Murchie goes straight into the starting edge, for Papali'i?

Yeah that's fine and what should happen.Agree totally with the sentiments of how bad it looks for Matterson dodging $4K and that he should hang his head in shame around the squad for doing so.
But we just know that BA will have Matterson back into his usual 60min bench role as soon as he's available again...
Nrl clubs?
Maybe we could work out a contract where he’s allowed to be released from his cell for games and has to return there when they aren’t on?Possibly not coming to Parramatta in 2023 then... Curtis Scott found guilty and sentencing is on 18 November.

Interesting he was sitting behind a nuffie in Sorensen though.Hopgood will stroll into the Parra team.. Great player, just couldn’t sit behind Yeo forever.
I thought Papali'i would at least be a first grader. He was only 22 with 60+ games under his belt. Murchie is 25 and only played 40 games. Not to say he can't become a solid first grader but he doesn't have Papali'i's potential.Marata is probably being paid twice what Evans was though, reportedly $650k for 4 years for Marata. As Kerry Packer said, you only get one Alan Bond come along once in your lifetime! I think there is far too much expectations on him to live up to that sort of money, as decent a player he was for us.
Murchie would be on around the same or possibly even less than Papali'i.
