Well at this stage Matto shouldn't even be in the conversation for a starting spot. He has tossed away that right as far as I am concerned.

I would have Hopgood and even N.Brown if he is still here next year ahead of him in the starting 13 simply on principle.

Matterson won’t be coming on for at least the first 240 minutes.

But we just know that BA will have Matterson back into his usual 60min bench role as soon as he's available again...

Marata is probably being paid twice what Evans was though, reportedly $650k for 4 years for Marata. As Kerry Packer said, you only get one Alan Bond come along once in your lifetime! I think there is far too much expectations on him to live up to that sort of money, as decent a player he was for us.

Murchie would be on around the same or possibly even less than Papali'i.

I thought Papali'i would at least be a first grader. He was only 22 with 60+ games under his belt. Murchie is 25 and only played 40 games. Not to say he can't become a solid first grader but he doesn't have Papali'i's potential.
