another day, another cumberland throw training report. link below if anyone's interested -

http://thecumberlandthrow.com/2016/...ning-november-21-more-than-a-pack-of-gumbies/
I should add I’m told this will not be our primary major jersey sponsor for the season proper, however, as the gambling laws in New Zealand prevent our Leagues Club’s name from appearing when we play the Warriors.

the Storm don't have that problem being sponsored by Crown

was also never a prob for Souths and Star City

Pou he is wearing 13 in those wrestling drills. He is also pictures in the latest photos. For some reason when I saw schoolboy I thought he'd be a runt but he looked plenty strong enough for a half physically. I don't think he will be long in 21's before they want to test him against men in Wenty.
That's Jack Morris mate, the 20 year old second rower. Blaise Barnes is an 18 year old fullback.

Just saw James Tamou at the local shops with partner. He crush her.
I be honest I never have rated this guy? Just a big lumber jack
He's a great all-round middle forward, which is why he has made all the rep teams. Won't necessarily punch holes through the middle (though his go forward is as good as Mannah's) but he he has a good offload, has some speed, a big motor, wrestles well, and doesn't miss too many tackles.

seriously Pou ?

no comeback so you resort to insults. that's not like you
Actually I gave you both. I refuted your argument and insulted you into the bargain. Call it subcontinental efficiency.
At least you have managed to work out that the NRLPA work for the players, maybe that's where they got their name from
Lucky I worked it out and explained it for you. You thought they just wanted loyalty and I had to explain they're just out for money.

oh, so you're a mind reader now ?

so I guess one way to pretend you win an argument is to pretend you know how the other person thinks

can you also tell me next weeks Lotto numbers too ?

that'd be pretty handy

TORONTO -- The Toronto Wolfpack have made the biggest signing of their short history, landing former Tongan and New Zealand international Fuifui Moimoi.

The 37-year-old prop spent 11 seasons with the Parramatta Eels in Australia's National Rugby League before moving to England to play for the Leigh Centurions under Paul Rowley, who is now coach of the fledgling Wolfpack.

The Toronto team is set to open play in March in the Kingstone Press 1, the third tier of English rugby league. The goal is to win promotion and ultimately make it to the elite Super League.

Souths could not use Star City on the kids gear or when in NZ hence they weren't on the away strip.
I think Storm was sponsored by Crown Resorts the hotel chain.

Add to that: Who will be our go-to goal kicker in 2017 ?
Geez I hope whoever it is does plenty of practice. You can't emphasize enough how important that is.
I'm told that the Fog is an absolutely gun goal kicker...

but it still wasn't a problem for them having Crown and Star City as sponsors

true, but I suspect the already relatively unappealing idea of "sponsoring" ourselves is further dampened by the fact that if we did go with PLC, we'd still need another front of jersey sponsor for NZ trips.
