While I can think of a big two (Brown and Moses), I am stretching to think of anyone that qualify as a third in the must re-sign category...?

While the club seems to speak very highly of Penisini and his future leadership potential etc, I can't say that I've seen his on field performances come anywhere near consideration as big (alongside Brown and Moses)?

Handy to have (given our backline is pretty dire anyway), but not in the must retain at all costs category from my view.

He definitely has the potential, and I'm hoping he does develop during his next 3 year contract - but the other two of the "big 3" to be re-signed are already rep-level players, and a different class.

I am posting this to advise that the reason we are just buying these second tier players that may become first tier is that we are going all out to re-sign the big 3.

If we are successful which Im sure we will be expect an announcement before the season starts possibly even before Xmas.

@chiefy1 get your money ready.

His performances were phenomenal for his age. He is still eligible for Flegg in 2023 ffs.
