None of those players you mentioned defends in the middle as a hooker. And aren’t you the one who in previous years would talk about our team being “too small”?

Need bigger forwards you would say, right?
Well, hooker is a forward position.
If you actually read the post instead of just looking at the headlines you'd see that I said small forwards needed skill, our forwards at the time had NONE. So yes I wanted bigger forwards, with skill, that suited the game at THAT time. And have we prospered since we changed to bigger, skillful forwards?

Since then the speed of the game has increased so players need to change again. You cannot stagnate while the game around you changes. So please keep up to date and don't bring up past arguments about something that's completely different now!

Five kicks and 26 runs. That’s what happens when you play a utility in the halves.

You know your kicking game is good when Jahrome Hughes does most of the kicking.
Well if you had of watched the game you would of noticed Brown was into dummy half quite a lot the second half because the Cheese was spent. When NZ had a fair share of the ball he was easily the best half on the field. Utility lol.

Spent a lot of time at dummy half you say? He seems quite versatile.

lol
Well he had to get there because the Cheese couldn’t, poor coaching from f**king Madge because Cheese let the match winning try in while he had Foran on the bench. f**king smart arse lol!!

Also, regards to signings would anyone be against signing Klemmer and playing him at lock and moving Matto to the edge? Gives us plenty of go foward with Klemmer, Paulo, Lane, RCG, and Matterson on the field at the same time.
8. Campbell-Gillard
9. Hodgson
10. Paulo
11. Lane
12. Matterson
13. Klemmer
14. F.Brown
15. Taupau
16. Hopgood
17. Murchie
Matto can move into lock later in the game and bring Murchie on the edge. I reckon that's a premiership-winning pack. Also quite mobile as well.

I am posting this to advise that the reason we are just buying these second tier players that may become first tier is that we are going all out to re-sign the big 3.

If we are successful which Im sure we will be expect an announcement before the season starts possibly even before Xmas.

@chiefy1 get your money ready.

WIth the loss of Papallii and Nuikore, Mattersson simply has to play on the edge - for at least 40mins of his usual 60mins.

Picking up an experienced/cheap middle forward on a one year contract is a must, if Nathan Brown is released (or not going to be selected again for some reason).

Hopefully after the World Cup we'll hear that we've picked someone up to fill that spot, while our other forward options mature during next season (given their lack of top grade game tiem last season).
