He’s been a hooker going back to Harold Matts in 2016.Didn't Schneider play half as a junior before being graded?

To run fast?I'm happy to reserve judgement on that.
Trent Barrett seems to be a good attacking coach, and he was a very good half in his day - I'm sure he can teach Jake some things.
Before being graded from Newcastle area I think. He’s been a hooker going back to Harold Matts in 2016.

Stupid to write off a halfback who has played this much senior footy by age 20. He is still eligible for Flegg next year ffs. He will never have quick feet, but he only needs to be quick between the ears.If possible, ideally, yes.
But if he can be coached to work on his skills set, and footy brain, then his lack of speed may not matter that much.
Peter Sterling wasn't lightning quick, but he was smart, and skilful.
I'm not giving up on Jake - he's only just turned 20.

Imagine having Souali, Teddy and Manu to squeeze into a backline and then having to move on Keary because he is surplus to needs.Roosters about to extend Sam
Walker
And how much of that footy has been deserved??? If his last name was Escobar would he even have a top 30 contract??? Wow having a half that wants to extend before they are on the market, what a novel ideaRoosters about to extend Sam

Tim Smith would probably have finished his career as a GOAT if not for matters outside of footy. My mum could have beat Timmy over 40m.I don't get why the bed wetters want to focus on JA's pace, Alfie was a 3 foot midget with half of his pace and size, look what he achieved
but carry on

i think we’ve been there, done that. Johns would of worked with JA. Wouldn’t we be better served getting another 20 yo with a better skill set off the bat, and working with him?
You can only polish a tu… you get the drift!

True that. Or the way he passes it on doesn't necessarily work or stick.Yes, bur can you name me a player that Andrew Johns actually improved?
It seems that Joey isn't great at passing down his skills, and knowledge.

Barrett's coaching career, thus far, has been a disaster - but he's been credited for setting up some great offensive sides (by a few different people), so perhaps he'd be a better fit for Jake.
Only time will tell.
And it's probably a bit harsh to suggest a 20-year old is in the turd category, when he was clearly not physically ready to play First Grade, but was thrust in...
Lol Alfie Retired almost 20 years ago it’s almost a different game, and secondly Alfie was deceptively quick especially over that first 10 metres it’s why he scored so many close range tries. A lot quicker than Jakey. Watching him off the mark is like trying to watch 4K porn on dial up.I don't get why the bed wetters want to focus on JA's pace, Alfie was a 3 foot midget with half of his pace and size, look what he achieved
